After Prime and Animated the design isn't terrible, its just really, really boring. The mouth thing needs to go though - good writing and voice acting and you don't need a mouth. It ruins the individuality of characters and limits the creativity of designs. Optimus looks like a leader, with a mouth he just looks like another random robot.

The Bumblebee design is still atrocious though.

I can get behind this. Hey if TFA Prowl could...err would have done it in Season 4, I can't see why that should be an issue in general other than "Prime Optimus Prime Sucks".

Hopefully we get to see the new characters or other returning characters next?

You haven't seen good Flash animation, then. But this is CG, cel-shaded (tho better than the mid-2000s stuff, no doubt), on painted BGs.

Not really; he's transparent there. He's dead. Even if he's an Obi-Wan/Jaga spirit, it's not really returning from the dead. I'd much rather he be reborn as Rodimus, someone who idolizes Optimus, and only learns that he was Optimus in his previous life once he's reclaimed the Matrix & becomes Rodimus Prime.

 

Its like design crysis. Both TF's like vehicons and look happy  .

Intresting, how will look other TF'S, but desing not cool now. Hope for more cool in future, but in all, this is terrible.

 

i hope its a cybertron based prequel to prime that would be cool. the optimus design does remind me of a image of the cybertronian version of him we saw in the show

In the poster it looks like they are on Cybertron and Bumblebee looks better now.

I wouldn't be surprised if they borrow AoE's bad guys. Or at least their names.

But I also wouldn't be surprised if Megatron and Starscream just inexplicably reappear as if nothing happened.

Weremole listed some good ones. I worked on the Mr. Men Show several years ago, I like to think it was one of the better Flash shows (particularly at the time). And yes, MLP is a good Flash show, too.

 

Shouldn't be surprised to see Optimus; the PRIME mashed up continuity pieces establishes that Optimus can always come back.

 

So if they're still pushing aligned, and traditional animation budgets (hopefully) mean there will be more characters on the show.

How about some of the TF Universe new characters? I just want a Dust Storm toy.

 

Duststorm's transformation is impossible.

 

It's not traditional animation, it's CG, modeled, with cel-shading to make it look a bit more like traditional animation.
