    Their trailer has been postponed or maybe even cancelled. But they are distributing a trailer not made by them.

    Yes, how else could Takara merit such a pricepoint? Unless it's like, gold plated or something...?

    I'd prefer it over a new mold of regular Optimus Prime, TBH. Although I'd really prefer a proper Ultra Magnus over another Optimus Prime at all right now.

    I think (especially if it's a smaller than MP-01 robot) a "Modular Convoy" would be a good idea - that just happens to fold into a block-shape to plug into something. The first release would be the 'standard' Convoy, and then (via different trailers and/or pre-planned remolds comes the Ultra Magnus, the Super Ginrai/God Ginrai, the five unneccesary recolors, and more! :)

    I'm really hoping TakaraTomy has multiple re-uses planned for the base Convoy figure alone...the modular aspect someone mentioned earlier, for Ginrai, Magnus...that screams awesome to me.

    Hopefully TakaraTomy releases images very soon.
