I believe that in the next couple of years, the star seekers will be fully fleshed out by authors, and cartoons. Hasbro has already announced all members, and there is a possibility we will see them in the next season of prime. He is at least an INTERESTING character, even if we only know him from a sub par novel, and a pretty darn cool voyager. Thoughts?
Seeing him, and his crew, fleshed out more would certainly make buying his Voyager worth it. That said I'm not planning on hunting him down...just yet anyways. Would also help if his crew got figures of their own too (they're supposed to have new designs...right?). Assuming he shows up in Prime, I wonder how his interactions with the pre-existing characters will be played out. Especially with his vendetta against Cybertronians. That said, I don't really expect to see him in season three. Would be nice, but with the Predacons coming in as the new force, I'm not sure they would also introduce the Star Seekers just yet. Though since the Predacons will be working with the Decepticons, it would be interesting to see the Star Seekers come in and team-up with the Autobots, and sort of be the Maximals...
I feel buying his voyager is well worth it on its own merit. He is better than most of the rest of the line, even if his alt mode is a little lacking. Investment wise, I feel he is a strong choice for picking up. Even if nothing else ever comes from the star seekers, this is a good figure of a new character.
