I came across this and saw interesting tidbits. The article states that Patrick Dempsey's character was seen pointing a gun at Sam. He can be seen wielding a pistol in the pics. This certainly confirms that his character will be "dark". Maybe he's another Pretender? I hope not but if so, cool. I want to see a human working with the Decepticons though, so hopefully that's the case with him. What caught my eye the most, was a shot of Rollbar with two armed humans (one man, one woman) standing in front of him, looking badass; maybe these are his hollow drivers or just NEST members? The fact he's reported holding a gun, makes me think it can't be a decepticon like alice. Why would a decepticon use a gun? They've got a whole arsenal within themselves, my vote goes to he's just a bad to the bone human.
For some reason I'm getting a G.B. Blackrock vibe from him..which would be a great nod to the comic "The Worse of Two Evils!" which also starred Shockwave. But then again, we know next to nothing about Dempsey's character..
