Just got back from Best Buy. I was browsing through the TV on DVD section and lo and behold, one of the best shows to grace the airwaves has been released on DVD. I quickly grabbed my copy and promptly headed toward the checkout line. The show is just brilliant IMO. The entire cast contributes, but Phil Hartman and Stephen Root are the real reason this show is so great.
The show was an amazing piece of television. I enjoyed every moment of it up until Phil Hartman's unfortunate death. I love Lovitz, but just couldn't quite get into the show the same way.
Really? I browse the TV on DVD sections everytime I go into Best Buy and hadn't seen it before. It was on sale for $8 off so I figured they were doing one of those just released sales.
I think Newsradio was the last real sitcom I committed myself to. I could make a case for Frasier, but that was really off and on.
