i think the med table has a telescoping top.
That would make some sense. OTT tall otherwise!
Must say I like the face. There's actual personality and individuality there, not just eyes, a nose, and a mouth. Perhaps Legends is a little small for it, but I've been wondering when we might be able to distinguish individuals by their faces rather than their helmets, bodies, or colour schemes...
Agreed. Overall, NA does amazing work on their head/face sculpts.
I like the look of the Seekers so far. My second set of NewAge figures is shipping (Jazz and Bluestreak - started with Goldbug). It'll be interesting to see how they compare size-wise to GoBots. Don't have any immediately at hand right now, but a random website says Turbo is 8.5cm and NA cars are ~8cm, so I hope that half centimeter isn't super obvious. It would be great if the Seekers ended up a little taller, so the GoBots would be in the middle of the scale rather than at one of the ends.
Not sure if anyone else point out... there are 7.
Why? It’s just discussion. No one was attacking you.
The mold looks really good, and the blast effects are great. A crown and cape? Yes please. And...
*zoom* He's holding a mini Megatron?? I am so there.
That would be cool, so it should work with IF and MS figures just fine.
Just to be sure...is this a new original mold and not a copy of any previous one???
Yes, all new mold.
Thanks a lot. Also a friendly reminder, we appreciate all our members sharing images of the new reveals, but we won't give news credit in the future unless you link us to a proper source of your images. Thanks.
This is a must buy for me!
I don’t see any mold all I see is grey nice looking legend figure
Devil's advocate, I actually think the Classics Seeker mold has a not-awful upper back, but the cone sticking out the back of the head is still...a thing
And some of us missed the boat on DX9 Seekers, myself included, so having slavish cartoon Legends takes as an option again is a good thing. Though I fully admit I wish we'd get more combiners. We have...a pretty solid Bruticus, a Devastator that was low energy, and promised Stunticons that are in limbo. Sigh...
Man this figure looks sick! Fuckin' incredible! Im stoked. First i was following DX9 because they were only ones doin "G1" Legends & DX9/Iron Factory were the 1st to invest in Legends line total so it was slim pickings. But they were never fun! Soundwave, Starscream TC & SW, & the Dinobots especially were just TERRIBLE at posing and they were not REAL GOOD looking. Newage comes along & now I got all the figures so far they are FUN, posable, different feel altogether imo & even Dutch/Optimus Prime, who LOOKS like hed be fun was wonky & not that fun. But he did LOOK good.
So far i have Jazz, Prowl, Bluestreak, Smokescreen, Ratchet, Ironhide, & the Insecticons. I could see myself retiring on just Masterpiece & those lol. Starscream is no exception.
They dont really scale with DX9, not the correct cartoon scaling at least. Im betting their/na Optimus Prime will be taller. Bumblebee only comes up to Primes knee and the carbots come up to just hair over where na Bumblebee does to DX9 Optimus (Dutch) in the pic. Bluestreak & Jazz are just a touch over the minibots in Sunbow. NA Ratchet is taller IIRC.
Im not saying they dont look good together, and it works. And im sure in comics & newer cartoons that scale is right. Just my :2
Honest question: Am I the only person bored to death by 3P figures of the same handful of characters being released over and over? There are only so many ways you can make a G1 Starscream, Optimus, etc. Not hating on anyone that's excited for this. I just don't get it. I get excited when I see a figure for an obscure character or one that hasn't been touched in a while.
I get that but this is a big improvement over the other figures that have come before. At this size, your only current option for Starscream is DX9's which is pretty flawed (or at a slightly larger size, MFT's KO which is equally flawed). It would be nice, though, if a company were to keep going long enough to get to some of the other characters. I expect that we'll see that from NA and MS - give em time to get through the big ones and we'll start to see more of the S2 and S3 cast start to get made. Eventually it'll get the point that the MP market is at where there are only a few holes left. Probably more quickly, too, since these figures seem to be much quicker to produce and their lower price means that fans don't have to be as selective with their purchases.
Also, I didn't get started on this legends thing until about six or eight months ago. So I missed out on getting the IF Starscream/Thundercracker/Skywarp figures for something less than an arm and a leg, as well as some of the early offerings from DX9 and MS. So, I'm thrilled we're getting very good figures from other companies now since I'll actually have a chance to get them new and for retail prices.
