See, I was perfectly happy with my DX-9 seekers and coneheads. No need to upgrade. 4 months later this storms into the house...







And now there's another second set of coneheads on the way. And I'm telling myself I'm okay with half a space bridge - It'll just hang out of a wall. Except it'll be three fourths of a space bridge when Hotlink Acid Storm and Sunstorm get here. And what can you do with 3 4ths? That's too big a hole for a door. And now this... I hate New Age lol!

I’d say it’s Black Starscream and not Nova Storm, judging by the coronation set. Which motivates the price a little better but still..

Oh who am I kidding. POd.

 

It's pretty but I'm not in at that price. Maybe $50.

 

Black and gold? Looks blue and white to me. Could just be the light, though.

Apparently it’s a 300-copy limited edition.

 

It's called Lucifer so it isn't one of the known seekers even if it looks like the Iron Factory one I think. So is this like the clear version of Starscream, gold transparant Bumblebee, purple transparant Cosmos and the purple transparant Insecticons?

 

NewAge hands down has the best Legends scale seeker sculpts. I need to get the original trio.
That price is kinda crazy though. I wonder how much it'll be through Taobao.

 

Ooooo, Black Starscream. Price is painful but he sure looks nice. More of an accurate homage than the NA version (especially with the grey wings).

DAMN! That's my favorite repaint! I still have my E-Hobby one and love it. Even made him a new character, different name, his own abilities...

I'd buy this, but sadly not for that much. I get the limited copy meaning it'll be more expensive, but that's a lot. Still, it certainly looks awesome. I think I'd prefer a lighter gold shade, more like the E-Hobby, but the overall look definitely pops. I'll have to watch and see what this guy goes for on some of the other sites, but I'm expecting to skip it.

Edit: I'm just realizing this is the clear version, except for the wings? That actually makes it easier to say no. Cool for everyone else that wants one!

Yup, looks like smoky translucent wings. He’s pretty and, unlike IF, I’m not going completionist on the NA Seekers so the absurd price matters less.

I thought this was just one of those e-hobby repaints, not meant to be a character; whereas Nova Storm is one of the Rainmakers. I believe the below is official art of a different take on this trio:

 

Would have loved if they had done the wings of Acid Storm like this in place of the camo look. On the Iron Factory one it didn't bother me but on the Newage it looks more pronounced I think.

Those are generic dry rubs from ebay. I got them from Autobot Decepticons G1 Logo Transformer Sign Symbol Sticker Decal Silver border | eBay but lots of others have them too.
