The alt head on 14C Thundercracker is a great match for Sunstorm!

 

After a little shipping snafu, finally got my 1.5 versions in from TCP (along with Omega Supreme):






Obviously, the aftermarket wing flaps for Skywarp are a different shade from the ones for the originals since its clearly a different color. But pretty sure the flaps for Thundercracker are the same ones. In any case, glad to see there's enough differences in the coloring/deco that I don't feel foolish for buying these twice.

Just got the 1.5 Skywarp in, and I have to say the muted colours really work for me. I wasn't really sold in photos, but in hand the matte look is pretty awesome. I also appreciate the extra work on matching colours on the shoulders and the top of the torso to make it look less gappy with the colours.

I'm not sure the new grey on Thundercracker justifies picking him up as well, but very glad I picked up Skywarp.

 

Things that make me sad- I just got Dr Wu's version in, so now I have four Hotlinks, but none of them come with a backpack flamethrower accessory! Wasn't someone on here planning to make one for the NA version?

It's a nice little accessory that works well.

However, given that they painted up the Megatron pistol to look like the gun in the cartoon, it would be nice if there was a version that had a hose that connected to the scope of the Megatron. Preferably made with a more flexible material.

He is really beautiful, and gave me inspiration for background images. My next seekers is Hotlink and Skywarp C ver. I am satisfied with my first three releases NA seekers ( Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp ), but as much as my favorite is the first NA ver Skywarp I decided for C ver cuz is really more original toon coolor accurate.

I will make a new seekers from the first NA Skywarp ver, I would appreciate if someone has an extra head of first ver Thundercracker or some another silver paint seekers let me know in a message.

Do the Newage h15L AcidStorm and h14P Hotlink reissues carry alternate heads?

 

Yes i bought H14P Hotlink, and I got with him bonus or extra head 1.5 which I use for my new seeker Starsky. Probably H15L AcidStorm also comes with improved 1.5 head.

 

What did they take out to make room for the heads?

 

wait… what??? the re-issues of hotlink and acidstorm comes with the new 1.5 heads now? SOB… wonder if any/all future seeker re-issues will have 1.5 heads included. gonna be annoyed if nova storm and/or SG starscream comes with the 1.5 heads eventually.

Tnx   I wanted to give him a standard logo( like the one on Redwing ), or toon but he would not be seen because of the almost same color of his wings. For that reason I decided on that color of stickers, and it looks really good on him.

 

You know, I just realized this promotional image for H53G includes H13/14/15G figures...

Yeah probably just 13G x3. There’d be no difference between most seekers in Golden Lagoon colors, save the coneheads.

 

That’s funny because I’ve only felt tempted to grab some of these specifically because they have the v.1.0 heads. I don’t like the toonish ones at all!
