Am i doing something wrong or does he not have heels?

 

He doesn’t have heels one of the figures biggest issues. The Coneheads versions do. Some people keep the wing kibble out as heels. Gives a toy look too.

 

Yeah the lack of heels is super annoying because the mold is otherwise pretty damn good. Mistransforming the legs does make it more stable, but then you're left with some pretty big gaps in the legs.

 

I am very happy to have these two, but I do feel they are a bit Starcream cosplaying as Thundercracker and Skywarp. It would've helped if the greys were more white like in the cartoon. With the smirking face and the dark grey it just screams Starscream. But I like everything else about them. They are the best Thundercracker and Skywarp I have ever owned.

 

Yeah, I would not hesitate to drop $10 on some alternate heads so they look less like Scream.

 

Have New Age ever hinted at a G2 Starscream?

 

Not to my knowledge but I would gladly welcome it.

There’s a lot of repaints left that I am hoping they’ll get to as well. Sandstorm, Cloudcover, Orange Sunstorm, Nacelle, SG Skywarp, SG Dirge, hell a ROTF Starscream inspired repaint with cyber-tattoos would be awesome.

 

I mostly just want a Con to square up with G2 Grim… that isn’t just G2 Devy. .^.

Also, the G2 Deco for Soundwave doesn’t do it for me.

And, Kawamori’s MP3 Greenscream deco would also be nice.

 

I see I wasn't looking closely enough but all three of them have a different hue of grey for their face. Starscream is more grey blue, Skywarp is dark grey, while Thundercracker is light/silverish grey.

I put Thundercracker's alt head on Skywarp and colorwise it already feels better.

 

Does the old coronation crown fit the 1.5 head, and if so will anyone sell me one?

 

I was looking at the wing flap upgrade kits for H13/14/15, and noticed that some of the sellers list transparent wing flaps for H13T, but none of them have any in stock. Anyone know if transparent versions were actually made? Are there still any out there to be had?

But I bought mine years ago, dunno if they're available anywhere now. I have almost all the NA seekers (don't have weathered Starscream or Skywarp EX yet), but they came out with flaps for all of them.

 

Oh man… I wish I could find a set. If anyone ended up with an extra, let me know. I’ve got an extra set of the purple wing flaps, myself.

As I get the translucent figures I’ve been primarily displaying them in vehicle/alt mode, with the regular versions as bots.

 

Apologies for the picture quality. Pixel 7 pro is supposed to be one of the best phone cameras you can get so I really can't figure out why the pictures come out so much worse than they did on my pixel 1. I even got a tripod with a remote so I could be sure I wasn't shaking the camera but my pics just insist on sucking.

[Edit] Apparently I have to take the pic from further away - it's due to the newer camera having a larger sensor size and that causes the ghosting near the edges to be worse. Still pretty apparent on Skywarp's faction symbol though.

 

your dedication to collecting just about every mold and nice accessory is really cool and very impressive to me. i am glad we have someone like you on our side.
