Plus, H13C didn't come with a normal/neutral face. Both of his headsculpts featured a smirk--a symmetrical one like these new Seekers are coming with, and one modeled after SS's crooked smirk from this scene:

Why do people keep making the supposedly tune accurate skywarps with black shoulders? Part of why I liked his appearance so much in the show was he actually had a different color layout from the other seekers, at least on his arms. It really did make him stand out visually

You're crazy if you don't think the Omnibots would sell well.

The others are debateable but would still be welcome.

Yeah that's annoying. And they remembered to make the null rays purple as well, but missed the shoulders? Hopefully this is fixed before release.

I’ve never even heard of the Omnibots til now. Seems like they’re pretty obscure

They are, they were mail order exclusives that never appeared in the show or really any media that I’m aware of back then. Imagine if reflector had never been in the show. That’s basically what we’re dealing with

Me neither! It’s like the “Berenst(E)ain Bear paradox” and now I’m suddenly in a parallel universe where his shoulders are purple. Could have sworn they were black before :lol

Because literally every official transforming skywarp toy released before 2021 had black shoulders. It didn’t change until earth rise and the MP seeker V3 repaint came out… And both of those have the wrong purple, with it being too deep. The only actually show accurate transforming Skywarps off the top of my head are maketoys and deformation space. To this day I think the only actually show accurate Skywarp ever released in any official toy line was the little heroes of Cybertron mini figurine about 10 years ago

They\'re really squeezing this mould\'s use... tbh... i really like it. It\'s a great mould, and it has every varriant anybody would ever want, and it\'s a really good seeker army builder (if you have the funds)

I'm sure there's plenty of Transformers you've never heard of that you've bought anyway.

The Omnibots have a pretty strong following and are very cool unique carbots. They are no more obscure than plenty of characters who've received toy treatment, official or otherwise.

well i still don't think i can buy what you are selling. sure there are niche pockets of characters that the fandom want.

but dedicated runs of said bots is a stretch especially in the legends game. right now everyone wants to flesh out g1 and the combiners. then they are hoping for 1986 movie figs with headmasters and target masters mixed in.

i am not saying never say never. but i wouldn't hold my breath on the omnibots.

I think I’d have to disagree with you there. The Omnibots are probably the most obscure G1 toys released in the USA. A lot of countries didn’t even carry them. (As a Brit, I was unaware of their existence until the internet became a thing.)

Other than a couple of Alternators 20 years or so ago (one of which was rebranded as a Windcharger when released in the West), there have been no new toys of the Omnibots since the 80s.

Up until a few years ago you might have had a point if you’d said the Powerdashers were the most obscure G1 subgroup, but now even those have had mainline Hasbro updates recently.

They were never in the G1 cartoon, they were never in the comics, the toys were limited in availability (mail order only), and never released in a lot of countries.

Of all the various G1 subgroups, the Omnibots have surely got to be the most obscure?

Right? You needed 12 for the spacebridge but this is just obnoxious.

Yeah but the S.T.A.R.S. catalog featuring them must've come with alot of toys. The only TV era TransFormers that I had up until G2 were Ultra Magnus and Hotrod and even I had it.

There are a lot of G1 characters that I'd be more surprised to see Newage tackle before the Omnibots. They are an easy execute and fit in well with the aesthetic of all the carbots they are doing.

That said, if QC is good, I'll be very happy with the X-Transbots MP Omnibots.

Haven't you basically just contradicted yourself? Sure they're obscure, however yes, as you said, even the Powerdashers now have mainline toys.

There are a whole host of G1 characters who haven't had an updated figure from their original 80's incarnation making them all obscure in terms of a viable product, especially 38 years on. Yet here we are all arguing about gaps we'd love Hasbro to fill.

It's also not like Hasbro haven't acknowledged the fandom wants them, mentioning them in previous Q&A's and adding the three of them to the recent CCG.

There's no debate a lot of water has to go under the bridge first, however to say they wouldn't sell is sheer fallacy.
