    Folks jumping ship on this weathered version is what happens when you over process your promo pics and then in hand shots show the truth. Sort of messed up of NA to lead folks on like that.

    It still looks much worse than the promotional images, but it doesn't look ugly. I'll give them a chance

    When he really zooms in on the detail it looks better, but you have to get in really close to appreciate it apparently. It doesn’t pop like the processed promo pics. Jet mode does look good.

    Which might be for the best, TBH. Less is often more when it comes to weathering. A lot of folks overdo it IMHO.

    I think a lot of the issue in that video is the lighting and the camera he was using.

    Zooming in showed that it looks good, it’s the zoomed out shots that look washed out and brown (rather than worn).

    Sorry but no amount of bad lighting makes the promo shots look soooo much different from the actual product. the only thing I can think of is that since they're all hand painted some will be good some will be bad

    Yeah, I saw those pics and he looks a lot better in them! Maybe some of the earlier reviews/pics just didn’t really do justice to the detail for whatever reason.

    Hmmm is that a reviewer copy? Cause that looks pretty different from the other copies. And the QC sticker has been removed. I wonder if this is a “customized” paint job
