The real look of the figure does not match the promo pics for sure. Would have looked outstanding if the figure did look like or really close to the promo pics. I did buy this - might regret it. I only pain $55.99 at Showz so I figured I 'll risk it, maybe I'll like it more in hand.

I also want enough of the jets to complete the space bridge. I probably do have enough as I have the seekers, coneheads, green, purple, yellow and this is my 3rd Starscream.

 

Wow, that's REALLY disappointing. This is the first time I can recall being really disappointed with NA. Almost feels like false advertising at this point.

 

Again, the fact that this costs as much as Jetfire and some MPs is ludicrous. And usually a Newage diehard over Magic Square.

My bad, sorry and thanks for clarifying! That's a lot more tempting despite the disappointing final product compared to promos. @htquyet why do you think there's the sudden price drop - besides lack of interest?

 

Actually my theory is similar to what I wrote on the Firefox thread: due to some complains about their cheap price. They are asked to put a higher listing price but are free to have discount codes. So from a glance, they have similar prices with other retailers.

Let's see if some other future items are listed the same way, then this might be true.

The New photos don’t look battle damaged. They just look dirty.

 

I love Newage but damn that production sample is just straight-up a different deco altogether. You can't even see most of the weathering.

 

Yeah, this is the worst paint job we’ve gotten from NA. I don’t think it’s worth the price of a regular Starscream, let alone a premium for custom ‘hand painted’ dirtening.

 

But it's cheaper than regular price isn't it?

 

I was 1000% in on the battle damaged one from the first promo pics, but the latest? I think ima pass.

 

This kind of battle damage is very easy to paint yourself, hell it would probably look better than what they'd apply to it looking at the real shot of te figure lol.
