You can get by with 5 space bridge pieces. Using 6 on this shelf was going to push it too close to the front edge for what I wanted, and throw off the spacing of the coneheads. Even if I wanted to do a full ring, the inside would be visible at most angles and wouldn't look good to me.

got my Hodur today from ShowZ, but missing the coronation set.   was it supposed to be in it's own clamshell packaging or loose in bag?

 

They shipped the coronation sets separately on both of mine for some reason. Ask them about it.

 

like a whole separate package delivery? or separate in the same delivery but outside of the original box packaging???

 

A separate delivery. They arrived a week or so after.

 

I apologize, my memory is going. I'm only now remembering I got this from ebay, and I really thought the coronation set was stuff inside the box. Turns out it was in a separate box (which came in the same delivery), I even took a pic and posted it on this very thread:

 

Hi, I have a question, please forgive me if it was asked earlier:
I found some shops selling 3 main seekers as "Set of 3". Does this set contain the upgrade part for Megatron, or only for individual Thundercracker box only?
ShowZ mentioned the part is not included in their set, but I'm not sure if it's the same for every shop?

My understanding is that the legs were an extra that was sent to retailers to add Thundercracker if a customer ordered all three. My box was opened and the part was placed inside. So it's not a guarantee that you will get it at this point. Ask the shop if it will be included.

 

i doubt any trio sets or even Thundercracker include them any more as retailers began selling them separately for those wanting it. and even that is becoming scarce. the upgrade legs was initially a bonus offered during the time when the seekers were being released to promote sales.

but like @Autobrat Leader stated, best you ask to confirm.

 

As far as my personal experience goes, I can confirm that.
I recently bought a brand new Thundercracker which didn't include the upgraded legs for Megatron, and Show.Z even put up a disclaimer about it, to warn that they aren't gonna be packed in any longer with the Seekers 3-pack, nor given away as a gift for those who buy them all separately.

@htquyet - If you're looking for them, tho, Bababobo recently got a restock.

 

Heh, I think that was the intention, but nobody followed that. I got Starscream, Skywarp, and TC from different places, and the retailer tossed the legs in with Thundercracker anyways.

I would point out that the recent toy-accurate Prowl from Newage was also (inaccurately) described by BBTS as an “animation painting version”.

My guess is that this will be - like the EX version of Harry - a toy version.

 

Still hoping Newage decides to do the rest of the Rainmakers and Welcoming Committee. Just doing Acid Storm, Hotlink and Sunstorm feels lacking. Don't need them all at once, but two per year would be nice....

...and I keep dreaming of Tetrajet Rainmakers and Welcoming Committee.

Heads-up for a couple of preorders that I just saw popping out over at Show.Z Store. Seems like sometimes in April we'll get a restock for regular, stand-alone Starscream and the 3-pack set. On top of regular and EX Jazz.
