I'm in the process of painting up Newage Toys Harry (Prowl) to be a Shattered Glass Prowl (Based on the color scheme of the Mexican G1 toy variant. Waiting on the paint to dry for the hood of the vehicle before final assembly and I still need to do the eyes in red which massive pain with how small this figure is. Edit: He's finished. Chipped the paint a little in assembly. Admitedly, not my best work
I bet the only reason he's an autobot is because Optimus would go "GIVE ME YOUR FACE" he is quite loopy after all
I think my next project is going to be Omega Doom out of MFT Ancient black. I'm having a little trouble getting the head apart but disassembly is going pretty smooth for the most part. If anyone has any tips on how to get that panel off of the bicep so that I can finish taking apart the upper arms, or how to get the screw cover off of the joint on the foot, I'll take any advice. Other than that, I'm still just kind of plotting out where I'm going to put what colors. And trying to pick out the perfect shade of orange spray paint. The original character is based off of the Cybertron Menasor mold which was honestly too expensive for me to buy only for a custom. So he's going to be missing the big drills that are supposed to be in his hands, but I can at least get approximations on the colors based on the comics and a mock-up of what a potential botcon figure of him would look like
No, shattered glass still focuses a lot on the Autobots. Unfortunately it kind of falls apart at the end when Optimus Prime meets the good Unicron and is reformatted into the heroic Nova Prime.
Eh... overall, I enjoyed it. The ending was rushed, but I can blame some of that on FunPub losing the license and having to wrap things.
