That is a lot cheaper than I expected. But looking at @NOCV info, they are simpler than I thought 5oo. Seems fair.

Plus you'll get 1 cent for every dollar spent, that you can put towards a future purchase. It's not much, but it's something.
I actually put that together to ballpark an estimate, and saw the PO listing on ShowZ when I went to look for BBB's original price. I was going to guess $50-60/set, so I was glad to see they were right where I expected them.

I think that's a great price for these.

^ 3 cent if you're a pimp, whoops, premium member at showz like some folks here, it will only cost you a 10 spot a year......

Very happy with the price, I had some misconceptions about the parts count, which isn't always a direct correlation to articulation. In my mind the Insecticons are normally bigger bots than Bumblebee so they are more complex.

But it probably takes more work/parta to get a cartoon accurate 'Bee.

Noticed the listing this morning and picked up a couple of them for another $2USD off each... the insecticons are part of those characters that I'd like to get but not necessarily needing them to be MP scale, so this set should hit the spot for me.

I have had a soft spot for Kickback since I was a child in the 80s. I had the original toy, and a neighborhood kid stole it from me, and ever since, I\'ve had an irrational love of the bot. I picked up his Fall of Cybertron Generations toy, as well as his most recent Legends toy. I may still have to break down and get this one, though. Never really cared about the other Insecticons, though.

A dozen pics of these things in every pose, but none comparing them to a released figure so we can see the size! I am keeping my fingers crossed they are around Flipper's size or slightly bigger, but shorter than the NA carbots.

Either way, they look nice, perfectly serviceable Legends Insecticons. Sure, there are some little nitpicks here and there, but I think at this scale a lot of that will not be an issue in hand.

I'm happy it's NewAge doing them, too... they're so repaint-happy that it means we're very likely to see a Diaclone set of these as well. (As a side note, I still can't believe not there are three distinct Masterpiece-alike sets of Insecticons, and not ONE of them has re-released them in Diaclone colors.... come on!)

Same here. He's got an 'it' the other two lack, imho.

Haven't we already been told they're 6cm tall? That's the size of this custom MegaBloks Rocket Raccoon I have on my desk (woot, MegaBloks-scale Insecticons!).

I'm a bit surprised we haven't seen any size comparisons yet. Not sure if these guys will enter my 3P CHUG-compatability listing yet.

That's a good point and one that I raised myself to counter my earlier reservations about the arms. At that size, any slimness will probably be much less noticeable than if they were larger figs; definitely less noticeable than in blown up, hi-def photos at any rate!

I'm gonna need a few more of those snacks!

They mentioned the joints and accessories were very sophisticated and small so using Soft Gel Inlay Craft. Is this the same as Magic Square’s Nylon Plastic? Of course this is a rough and crude translation.

Oh, nice. I had missed that bit of news. That sounds like the perfect size.

Any other perks? I'm not sure I want to obligate myself to spending $30 year to break even, and then more to actually get any discount.

I love ShowZ, but I am curious as to the price @tfsafari will have these at. My dealings with them have been just as slick and they also ship for free.

Either way, these are a sure purchase for me. I've been itching for some Legends scale Insecticons since I got started with the new collection.

Just the extra 2% credit... depends on how much you spend in figures they carry per year. It’s $500 to break even, but nowadays, that’s like 3-4 MP figures and you’re there.

So if these are coming in a 3 Pack, how do you think they will roll out the Grey Bombshell they snuck into the pictures?
