i finally picked them up today when i snagged wheeljack and they are cool for their size.

but i will definitely welcome a new bumped up set of insecticons. if and whenever they are made i hope that will be from IF. the novelty of their size is cool as clones but outside of the bug mode they are just way too small for the size i have for them in my head.

sooo...is anyone looking to buy some cubes?

They blend seamlessly with Perfect Effect's Reflector and Casettebots, almost if they were specifically made to match them:



Overall, a great set - still can't get over how small and fun they are. Looking forward to receiving the Animation color version (on the way from @ShowZStore)

i dont know if it has been addressed or not or if you care. but shrapnels inability to sit flat really irked me.

but i found out i could tip the little flaps on the underside at his butt down just enough to get them to contact the bottom first and that helped offset the weight obviously.

that left me with a nice and flat looking bug mode. just my little 2 cents for the group think.

*edit* i didn't know his arm blasters had the ability to be extended down like feet to stabilize the back. just watched it in a vid and i am surprised and impressed...my bad 

 

When I extend the blasters, he still tips backward.

 

The secret to Shrapnel is to not fully peg on his hands, to the full extent that they go onto his leg pegs. The purple bug feet on the underside of his forearms have to be level with his gray bug feet.

Even then the front two feet lift a little, but he's still standing on the back four.

 

They're are sooooo adorable!

 

The ghost white on the insect parts looks fantastic in person. I thought they'd be a little more grey from the pics.

 

Cartoon colors?

 

Ya. If I get around to it, I'll get my real camera and take some better pics. Up on the shelf with some other cons and a darker background, it really makes 'em pop.

 

Got cartoon colors as well. Still waiting for them. All the while I thought the cartoon colors were the "default"/"v.1" Insecticons

megs, soundwave and the sweeps, camera bros are HS and MFT. the cyclonus is MS i am not sure about the seekers or the constructicons.
