I'd buy legends scale deluxe insecticons. Then someone upscale them to deluxe size. Please, someone start upsizing legends scale figures.

These are bought on sight!! Amazing!!

@Windsweeper II - legends do get upscaled, by Jinbao, MFT, etc. Known as "legends plus" by the fandom.

For information, the seven insecticons are Ransack, Chop Shop, Barrage, Venom, Shrapnel, Kickback & Bombshell.

I know about legends +, but legends scale upscaled for a chug collection would be a big win for chug collectors.

Very interesting. Can’t say that I need more insecticons, but it would be hard to pass on anything Newage at this point. Really need some size comparisons to judge these guys.

I left collecting but I have a soft place for Soundwave, Reflector and the bugs... might need a set of these for shits and giggles.

I think I backed the wrong horse when choosing Magic Square over Newage....

It's like they reversed roles this year. Last year Magic Square dropped a ton of figures while Newage had only Bee. This year Magic Square has only done their Prime, the Ginrai Prime, and the Delta Magnus repaint (I think coming very soon), while Newage has had Cosmos, the Datsun Bros, and Jazz + tons of repaints.....

Anyway, just my 2 cents, I like Magic Square more and I am patient so I can wait. These Insecticons however, will definately be bought and will most likely fit with either scale. Insecticons are like chicken wings, you can never have enough but having just 3 only makes you hungrier......

Can't say these really are a big improvement over the Hasbro figures to me. The shoulders on them are very weird. I like the size of the official ones too. No worries, plenty of other stuff to buy

On the plus side you should be able to pick up some cheaper older figures with the new stuff in the works. I bet people will be dumping their DX9 and Hot Soldiers Ratchet and Ironhide. And with the Decepticons Magic Square has in the wings I can see people dropping their DX9 Decepticons.

I don't know, last year Magic Square was quiet the first two quarters. It wasn't until August or September when they really got onto a roll.

These Insecticons are amazingly tiny. Not perfect, but they look like they have decent articulation and NewAge doesn't cut corners on the paint. I might have to rethink picking up some of the repaints to save money for the new molds.

if anyone missed it these little insecticons will be made out of the same nylon material that magic square uses.

i wish bombshells torso looked better. to me he is the weakest out of the trio. but i am also not feeling the transformation of kickback. it basically takes the same lame hastak style when it comes to hiding the hands.

but none the less i will grab a 3 pack or 3

For my info Magic Square just send out a their prototype Cosmos to a Bilibili toy reviewer for review purpose and apparently the scale and the height of the toy are a bit too big and cause a big discussion among the group.
