i doubt we get anything till april to be honest
ShowZ has a price listed for these now, at $56.99.
That's $8 cheaper than MST.
It's too bad these aren't showing up until June because it's clear Chimera blows Magic Square's Video Team completely out of the water from an engineering perspective.

I beat you on these
Wow . Newage is taking no prisoners. The backpacks turning into the front of the camera is mind blowing. I have the ms reflector and have no complaints, but I’m getting a set of these for sure.
Their implementation of die cast and now electronics at the legends scale is really putting them in a league of their own. June can’t come fast enough
Now where Soundwave at? Lol
Some quick comps with MS...
The best presentation of any Reflector
Look at those backs
It's not really mind blowing, it's the same design as KFC opticlones
Thanks for the comparisons!
At this point I feel like Newage handily wins on the toy-colored versions. The extra level of detail works well with the toy colors, and the camera mode is terrific. Frankly the camera mode of both Newage versions blows MS's out of the water. Like, it's no contest.
That being said, there's something I slightly prefer about the toon-colored Magic Square version. I like the lighter purple, the cleaner torso/chest design, the cleaner-looking arms, and the head sculpts better. Not a fan of all the cluttered accessories (always felt the same way about Perfect Effect's version), but obviously one could just leave them in the box.
So... still on the fence! Definitely going NewAge for the toy version, but waffling on the toon version. I wonder how much it would bug me not having the same molds between the two versions. And also about MS's quality... after the reports on the Seekers, it left me wary that they were slipping.
I had to do some research on the opticlones, and you’re right. They take a similar approach to the backpack. But the part that is still mind blowing for me is that these are the size of an opticlone shin! Those came out 3 or 4 years ago? To have that drastically shrunk down with electronics within a few years is nothing to scoff at. I’m just constantly surprised at the leaps and bounds in the engineering at legends scale. Maybe I’m easily impressed
Actually, huh... looking at the comparisons with the animation model, despite looking less clean, I think the NewAge version looks a smidge more screen accurate. I didn’t like those little shelves they had on their bellies, but hey, turns out the animated versions have those too. They also have the less squared-off pelvises of the NA version (and of course NA has the weird trademark Reflector ankle panels).
Still prefer the arms on the MS version, but looking at the NA more positively overall now.
Shut up and take my money.
Love that they are advertising the Diaclone version right away, but even the toon version looks amazing.
What a great way to start the week.
They literally are sitting on gold mine
Remaking these into MP scale and they will scale like hot cake , no joke.
Definitely in for the toy deco!
No way to get this any better without retooling the chests; SO good!
