If this and prowl were a smidge taller I'd be okay with mixing with MS. However SS towers over there guys and it's just a little too much to handle. I wonder if their Van's are going to be too short to replace the MFT ones as well then.... hmmmmmm

My silver paint got chipped... what a mess and disapointment...

Also, look at their G2, they painted all those parts gold metallic. So for G1, they could have painted those silver instead of no paint light grey... makes me very sad. Bah, whatever, will get the G2.

 

The lack of a shoulder launcher is surprising and disappointing, especially considering how well they pulled it off with their Prowl.

 

Don't think that paint is final. The prowl had a silver face and ended up grey.

Of course they are too small.

 

I’ve got a few MFT and HS bots but I also have enough DX9 stuff already that I don’t mind adding more of that scale/size. The damn face sculpts kick magic squares ass. I’ve got a prowl in transit to test drive. If he’s good I’ll get more of these guys.

 

How does the NA Prowl scale with DX9 Optimus and Dinobots? I was waiting for Magic Square for the Datsuns, but could be swayed.

Face scult good but how the shoulders come out that naked. Besides all seems better than IF's, at least it is much more G1.

i know that Magic square is doing a Prowl but i don't see any word on Jazz, this guy looks pretty cool. Decisions decisions..

MS hasn't shown anything since last December. I was going to wait on the Datsuns but now I've ordered Harry and this Jazz has me really tempted. Definately in for Newage Ironhide and Ratchet, their smaller size to me is a plus, since I don't think they need to be taller than other carbots. But yeah, MS needs to show some releases before Newage starts eating their lunch. They are priced well, have great alt mode and paint detailling, and look super fun.

That said, Newage is as good as DX9 stuff had been. The leg/foot transforming mechanics look very DX9 in their style, much like the Dinobots. Speaking of which, very glad I went for DX9 dinos now. MFT was already too big for MS and IF, let alone Newage.
