I've noticed that, yeah. I adore Magic Square, but their alt modes tend to be more angular and blocky.

New Age is kicking ass, here. I'd definitely go all in on them if I didn't already have an army of figures.

The jazz and ironhide&ratchet look amazing.

Jazz and the datsuns look far superior to anything magicsquare have done or plan. Happy to declare newages carbots as the best. Almost make me want to collect this scale, i dunno... Their bee design i don't think much off despite it being an excellent quality figure, but the jazz and datsuns really don't leave much to be desired. Comes down to proprtions, faces, alt modes, all better than the competition.

I'm still sad Newage hasn't revealed a Bee remold to Cliffjumper. I would imagine it would have been fairly easy. Heck, I still want a red Bee with toy head for the fun of it

Damn, you guys all loving the colours on this jazz?
I hate the grey bits on the legs... just like for me downbeat... argh, I don’t want to paint over it...

7.6 cm is same height as na Prowl, which works for me, but...

Thei Prowl looks more prestine and finished... bah, they set the bar so high with Prowl, now maybe I should wait for another of their datsuns

Oh, and ironhide mold looks perfect too actually, definitely want that one.

The bad thing with Vanette mould is, they look just like the MP. I want something different, than what I already own.

I never liked the G2, but i am liking the NA version. It has enough white that it might just look alright with my Prowl. It looks more prestine than the normal Jazz, where the hasbro greys just bug me alot. That said, i really do love the alt mode of normal Jazz though...but this as well as even their shockwave.

Not having a beer belly, hip skirts, and weird horsey face (IMO) is difference enough for me! Bring 'em on. :lol

But seriously, how great are those head sculpts? :rock

What's the deal with ShowZ's pre-orders where the final price isn't known? Are they just listing it even though they haven't gotten a solicitation from the manufacturer or did the manufacturer really send them the info without a final price? Either way, I don't consider these "real" pre-orders until they've got a price attached.

Eh, I don't expect chrome on a figure this size.

    Chrome? Who wants chrome? YUUUK!!!!

Silver paint on the lower legs and lower chest area or white on the thigh, replacing all those ugly grey hasbro pieces, would have made a world of difference...

Chrome would be the correct choice for the lower legs and feet but silvery grey plastic will do. As I said, I don't expect them to use chrome at this scale - it's cheaper for them to manufacture and it's close enough to evoke the character. As for the thighs, I didn't even notice. I had to go check to make sure they were white on the original and in the cartoon. Doesn't bother me - I actually think he looks better with silver thighs.

Oh and if I could punch you for yukking my beautiful chrome... well, I wouldn't cuz I'm a nice guy. Ok, I'm a jerk but a mostly nonviolent one. But just know that you're wrong - chrome is the best. I used a molotow chrome pen on my Downbeat and it was a vast improvement.
