The most interesting part about these two is the possible Unicron head.
I'd love this. The world needs more Zoom-Zoom figures. This was the second figure I bought after getting back into Transformers collecting, after MP-01. Jazz looks great in rich, deep red like that.
Pics? Not exactly.
There is a thread for the ToyWorld legends Jazz here:
Jazz legend Toyworld
BUT they were not happy with the prototype they showed, and said they are going back to the drawing board. That was in December.
So, it'll be a while. But I'm happy to have them go back and re-do it because the car mode mold was not looking great. Not nearly as good as this one.
I like hologram figures. So yeah.
Too small? I think Prowl and Jazz pair well with Bumblebee, Cosmos, MS Beachcomber, and MS Seaspray. MS Huffer seems a tad too large.
Definitely see your point, but I just really love IF's general look for their figures, and Jazz especially. Besides, I'll have Stepper to satisfy my desire for this mold...
I totally agree, as I really love the IDWish designs. Just wish it was the full package with great articulation. Their take on the DJD seems to be the full package when it comes to combining great design and great articulation (production flaws notwithstanding).
What are the chances Newage will adapt Flipper into a Cliffjumper? He seems conspicuously absent from any Legends line.
Iron Factory has a Cliffjumper slated for sometime this year, but I'd definitely be all over a NA Cliffy [plus any and all repaints]!
Agree, but Huffer turns into a mini diesel truck so even his size is fine for me with Prowl and Jazz.
And the MS lambos may be taller in bot mode but the cars are the same... But to be honest I don’t think the MS Lambos are that great so I wouldn’t skip NA because they’re shorter than those two. It’s not worth missing out on NA’s great stuff especially for some pretty mediocre lambos.
If NA did the lambos you know they’d be absolutely gorgeous.
You got that inside track?
I wish! Just an educated guess - it's a mold that'd let them squeeze out a TON of repaints - Sideswipe, Red Alert, G2 Swipe, Tigertrack, Clampdown [not to mention the inevitable Translucent versions of some/all of these guys]. Heck, maybe they'd even make a Blue version as Soundwave [to accompany their Jazzy Shockwave].
If I had to bet money, I'd say NA will have some Lambos out by 2020 [giving a bit of time to grow the line and give some distance between their releases and the MS and MFT versions of these characters]. It's low-hanging fruit.
Please let that be true!
The Magic Square Huffer is the one I'm most leaning towards.
It's a great figure, he's just a tad tall for my taste - better suited to a Legends + collection IMHO [he is taller than NA Prowl / Jazz, which just doesn't work for me no matter how much bigger a truck is than a sports car in the real world].
I know what you mean. I just picked up a Magic Square Blaster. He is awesome, but looks like a monster standing behind Jazz, Bee and Prowl.
Oddly enough, I actually like the size of MS Blaster with my NA Carbots - I use DX9 Prime with the NA guys, and Blaster is the right height by comparison [if you go by the ol' Sunbow Scale, which I do about 75% of the time]:
I kinda figures that the scale could be off for Blaster (and eventually Soundwave) because their alt mods were so tiny. I am currently waiting for ShowZ to deliver my Hot Soldiers Prime. I think he will fit in just fine with the rest of my Legends.
HS Prime is a really nice figure - about the only thing I don't like is the awkward waist rotation. Otherwise, an amazing Legends Prime!
Also worth taking a look at the recently-released OS KO of DX9 Dutch:
