do we know if that scale is officially sunbow and isn't it a mix of season 1&2. can i get a judges ruling here please.

Very tempted to ignore scale chart for legends+ and get this. He is not a real world alt and i have no emotional connection or practical reason to have him being the bigger minibot so.

That was my plan too. I prefer the minibot sizes of Newage

Do it! I'm using NA Bumblebee with my Legends+ and I think he looks pretty good with them. A little smaller than he should be but it works well enough.

 

i just like the style of MS more, they feel more refined. however, a carbot sized Cosmos feels wrong.

 

Yup, if I wanted a carbot sized Cosmos, I'd just use my Hasbro one and call it good.

 

Well i got to say, there is a bit of problem with minibots in legends plus scale. Mft and hs minibots are like hasbros... Then mst and newage are too small. Around 7-8cm should be legends plus minibot size but alas there arnt any being made.

So yeah i feel mst are too small and newage smaller still. Also i am not a fan of the newage bee, i like the look of this cosmos and i am ok with goldbug for UT headmaster collection but going to hold out for another bee. Will see what mst is like.. I can't see myself getting more minibots from newage as good as they might be, open window just for cosmos really. But you never know.

Mst beachcomber and seaspray were too dull i thought, not channeling the character enough. I thought they looked bland so was ok to pass them. Beachcombers alt is cool and they didn't do justice.

99 problems and minibots are one.

 

This is what I'm doing too. I picked up NA 'Bee almost on a whim, just decided I'd take a chance and see if I liked it. At the time I already had the Hot Soldiers one so I was kind of like "eh another one? ok... I guess." Fast forward and NA 'Bee stands short but proud alongside my mostly MFT collection. He's supposed to be tiny so I'm pretty ok with it. The fun factor and design engineering in such a small figure are A+for me, NA won me over. I still like the Hot Soldiers one, but I've realized that it's really scaled more with the Hasbro legends minibots, so he lives with them now along with MFT Pipes and Huffer (EDIT: + HA Hubcap and Cliffjumper, can't forget them!)

So, I have this Cosmos on preorder with baba, looking forward to giving NA Bee a buddy to hang out with on small scouting/recon missions on my desk.

 

Thoughts on MS Huffer? hes got more height than all of them, and hes just sooooooo awesome. I really love him the most. I find myself having him on my desk the most. NA Bee second most. I think bee being that small fits with the G1 theme im going for, which isn't true for most collectors. Good luck finding what you're looking for though  

 

Yeah he looks an alright size. I compare him to the mft huffer and the face sculpt is not great. Mfts, who btw is also a workable size in legends+ because he is a truck but still a touch bigger than would be ideal, radiates toon huffer however ends up looking weird in the legends+ because his head is so big. If the head sculpt and chest were more accurate on the mst i might go for it.

Both present a bit of problem.

 

Glad to see that this is nearly ready for release. The tractor beam effect stand thing is nifty. I understand the complaints for the size and inaccuracies but I'll be damned if he ain't the cutest chubster.
