Finally got my Omega in today and I am in love! He is seriously an outstanding figure! Newage really knocked it out of the park with this figure. I'm not even that huge of an OS fan but my god this thing is incredible. What a time to be alive as a Transformers collector. Keep em coming Newage!

A weird size, but one that I found a domestic brand name actually makes. I picked up some Duracell 27As off Amazon.

 

I didn't bother to check local brick and mortar, and if you just want one 27A (I have no need to get a multi-pack and honestly will just test H53 once with the battery to make sure the electronics work, and then remove/put the battery away), Amazon currently has it for $2.94 shipped from a 3rd party seller "BD Supply", Duracell also:

Just got this guy and holy shit, I can see why New Age is so popular. This dude is chunky and sturdy! Excellent joint tolerances, super sharp paint apps and just all around fantastic QC.

The transformation is fun, simple and very intuitive. Only had to look at the instructions once to double check something.

The included mini screwdriver is cute as hell too.

I am super impressed!

And for those still worried, the colors are perfect in-hand. The beige is just the right shade and does not at all look like yellowed plastic. That really was just a result of the lighting some folks used when taking pictures.

Could someone please measure out how long/wide this dude is when transformed?

Yeah, from everything i’ve heard Omega embodies everything newage is doing. Hate to be a broken record but you should definitely look into their other stuff - i’d suggest a Devastator to match omega.

 

Bababobo’s website finally lists a price: 175 shipped. Was hoping toward 150 more.
