I like the deep knee bends that it's capable of.

I LOVE IT!!! Excellent work, NewAge. Although, would much prefer Gears/Windcharger, Streaker/Swipe or even Hound at this point, and I am waiting with baited breath to see how "Rubiks Cube" responds... This thing is incredible. The best Omega I have seen in any scale, period. Cannot wait to get this guy in my collection.

Also the KO of DX9's Richtofen/Powerglide was released as PT-01 by Pocket Toys. That was one of the most prevalent KOs I can recall in the last few years. Is it a coincidence that Pangu Toys PT-02 is a legends version of DX9's Gabriel? They're likely the same company. I'm curious if DX9 intended to release a legends Gabriel but canceled it or put it on the backburner, and now we're seeing the design being released by Pangu. I'm also curious if Gabriel's designer works for NA and if Michael is what he always wanted/intended to release as a legends Gabriel.

As for NA Michael/Omega Supreme, I am extremely impressed. The Mangmotion video combined with NA's post today make me feel like this is a project they took to heart. It looks very high quality with impressive articulation range for a bulky character. I also love that it has a motorized tank, even though I'll rarely use that feature. I've already pre-ordered this as I'm collecting legends scale combiners, and he will fit right in with them. While I'm still curious to see Pangu Toys' Omega, I doubt I'll get it after seeing NA's as I don't need two Omega Supremes.

I was around for motormaster, what happened with that? I bought him and it was great. I don’t remember even seeing any drama related to it beyond people not liking the trailer’s length.

there were a lot of problems with the thighs locking up and joints breaking. then you had the foot breaking off at the ankle.

all that happened after they were forced to do a fast second run of gabriel because of the storm damage the first batch took. it was just a really rough time for them to have shit like that popping up.

after that things just snowballed. the rest of their stunticons got slow releases and by the 5th member the band was breaking up. the designer stopped working on it took his design and had to leave. but thankfully he just went out and started NA.

I thought I heard $200, which seems like an underestimate.

I heard that there was a big dispute at DX9 between the toy designers and the CEO, leading to some of the designers quitting and forming NewAge. I seem to remember there being some bad blood between the two companies.

Maybe DX9 stopped being a going concern because they had nobody to design figures for them any more…?

It’s the one thing DX9/Pangu Toys has going for it over this one. The legs on that design don’t parts-form. It’s a design feature that would have made the New Age figure even more awesome but it is unfortunately lacking. I think that’s what @l3x is talking about.

A shorter list would be what didn't, I think. Optimus, Megatron, Kup, Orion, Dinobots, Constructicons, Seekers, Coneheads, Galvatron and his guys..

Much of it was MFT's handiwork.

Am I the only one who was constantly worried while watching the video that this was "crossing the line" and Hasbro would take action? Actual audio from the ads/show, and using the actual logos/names.

I want to agree. I desperately want to agree. I got into Legends because $20 for a desk toy seemed perfectly reasonable and they were fun and charming. I keep thinking I want to go back to the days of them being simpler and cheaper pick up and play toys. But then a new one is shown and I just fall in love with the intricate articulation and transformation. And with NA, the finish as well. I've replaced most of those old cheaper figures by now with the only exceptions being those that don't have replacements yet.

For that price, a bunch of us will buy 1 and share the one copy among ourselves, say I'll have it for one week, and then I'll pass it on to the next guy, etc, etc ;)

I thought about that too, and that's not NA's fault but the reviewer who wants to copy exactly from Hasbro, even how I admire him being able to do that.
The only reason Hasbro won't take action is because the scale doesn't compete directly with official lines.

I feel like NA is becoming more expensive relative to say, MS and IF. No data to support it (although I’ve seen someone present prices and show na is higher, particularly with repaints costing more than the OG). Like they’re becoming the FT of legends.
    With better quality  .

    It would quickly become the

They should be more expensive than MS at least. If MS charged as much as NA or vice versa I’d be pissed at MS for charging as much with their lack of paint and polish in general. Not to mention materials.

I love MS but I’m definitely not buying them for their paint and build.

IF figures tend to be more simplistic too.

Just watched the MangMotion video again and sheesh, this could be figure of the year and 2023 just started! :lol

Hoping this is another case of quick reveal to release!

Oh man this looks incredible! I am in on Pangu but since that is a downsize of the DX9 I already have… this is seriously tempting! And of course there is a real possibility that there’ll be a gold version too
