This. I’ll take the sled out once and then it’ll go right back in the box. IMO it should’ve been an EX exclusive thing.

Maybe they'll do an F version later. I quite like all the extra stuff. Skyfire and Arcee were a bit lacking in that department.

    My thoughts exactly.

Not in terms of G1 toon accuracy and articulation :)

the sled appeared in the cartoon once (and only Ratchet's) but I guess that was enough for them to decide they had to include it lmao. The MP also included a sled that wasn't involved in the transformation so I guess that was part of it. The accessory selection is incredibly close to the MP in general.

Maybe Newage should take these requests into consideration and make an F version of future molds like they did with Jetfire

I'll wait for the EX version as usual.

Totally. This hobby will teach you over and over again that size ain't everything.

I still remember how for years I didn't want to buy the original MP Bumblebee because it was so small, yet cost $60! Then I got MP Bumblebee and immediately fell in love and understood the appeal. It was the exact same way when I got my first NewAge figure this year. Quality is quality. Quality costs money.

I mean heck, when it comes down to it: I don't know about y'all, but I have a lot more money than I have space. Spending more to get better, smaller figures makes all the sense in the world.

Someone’s really picky about paint. Just curious but do you happen to wear a mask to transform for your figures?

Perhaps, but I suspect a fair number of people who'd trade accessories for a lower MSRP would also like to keep the paint and die cast.

I take my paint seriously, why wear a mask if I can paint my face to look like a mask? EX Bobby Skullface, am I right?

I'm fine with it personally and the MS had the same issue.

Oh right I forgot about the diecast and paint, those are nice. Personally I'm an accessory minimalist so I just box up or sell the extras.

I don't know if cutting out just the accessories would be enough of a cost savings, so my idea may fall flat unless the other two go with it

Yeah, I want a quality figure (I usually go for the EXs) but I’m not someone who appreciates a bunch of accessories. I don’t display my figures or recreate cartoon scenes, or anything like that.

I see the main question remains not only unanswered, but unasked— what undreamt of retool will they create from this mold?

Their prices keep going up but the figures IMO are getting worse b/c they are getting more and more complex for very little visual gain.

Any word as to whether Newage is committing to multiple variants of V2? I love the yellow taxi Ratchet (Tata?) from the V1 mold, but learned of it too late to find one available for purchase. It’d be cool if they would use those colors again on this version— it was my favorite of all the decos.

No idea but... This IS Newage so the answer is more than likely yes.
