I know it'd barely be different from EX but I still really want a Diaclone version too. G2 tiger stripe is so delightfully garish, I hope it and G2 Sludge and Swoop (and Mirage, honestly) are on the table too.

Thanks to ShowZ's super sweet "Sample" system, I was able to hop off the fence and grab the toon Grimlock for a discount AND shipped from my home country! Also may have just ordered myself the EX Toy version to go along with him... :p  EDIT: came with this kinda ugly paint residue across his torso, is the yellow just plastic? Might try and file the grey line off if so

i don't think the torso parts are painted. but i wouldn't take a file to that part of the chest. i am pretty sure that grey paint or whatever will come right off with a quick wipe of alcohol. if you are worried about the finish. you could always just use dish soap first or some baby oil. either way that mark should come right off with ease.

They're not doing a MTMTE version.... yet. Honestly they knocked IDW Cyclonus out of the park and if they go all in on an IDW line they can go ahead and just take my wallet.

Planet X also couldn’t figure out that they should also make an MTMTE/LL Grimlock, so I’m not so surprised New Age has not done so.

Perhaps they expect Iron Factory to make a non Iron Samurai version of their Grimlock.

Still, if New Age is gunna rework their tooling for an IDW Grim, then they should damn well make sure that there’s an extra swivel so that the Dino knees can bend properly.

I know, I know, but a lot of us want an MTMTE/LL Grimlock over a Maximum Dinobots Grimlock.

And, I would happily keep both, with MD Grim staying in Dino mode.

wow, looks like a mash up of the SG version with the EX version. i'd prob snatch that up and maybe get rid of one of those two that i already have. :p  trouble would be deciding which of the two.

Didnt realize stuff hung out of his legs lIke that, the leg covers don’t seem like they’ll be able to work in transformation? Or have they shown them?
