Dipped my toe into Newage with this fishy boi,and boy do I absolutely love him!

 

Got my SG Cyclonus in. No issues or mold degradation with him like previously reported. Honestly might be in better condition than my EX version. My only problem is that the box looks faded?



Regardless, the figure is great. One of my favorite paint schemes.




I also figured out a way to sort of mimic the gimmic from the show/universe toy where Nighstick/Krunix could attach directly to his arm. You can take out Cyclonus’ hand, pull the tab out and directly insert his targetmaster’s handle. From there you can hide Nightstick/Krunix’s in his Cyclonus' wrist and arrange his limbs however you want. I think it looks pretty cool!

Considering picking up the IDW Toshiro version of this guy. Anything I should know?

 

NA continues to knock out their SG interpretations. The red and orange paint is vibrant and glossy. The joints are solid. The target master is well executed too. A much needed update to MS’ attempt.

Edited: So yep it's a Flame Commander repaint which I didn't realise came with a target master. Good news is there is a reissue of Flame Commander listed on ShowZ

are the transparent figures popular with many collectors? i never really saw the appeal, personally, and was just curious.

 

I ordered the IDW and G1 versions and managed to completely miss the payment requests from Baba until a few weeks ago. Paid and received them today and I'm completely enamored with this mold. I planned on selling one off depending on which I liked more, but instead I've ordered the Shattered Glass version as well. 

 

EX Cyclonus is definitely better in hand than I thought. Like EX Soundwave he's less busy in person.
The stripes/triangles in space jet mode still look less than great. But they look better than the G1 toy.
But the accessories are fun, and hopefully Scourge, Blurr and Hot Rod are planned sooner than later. Their toy decos aren't as busy so they should look even better. And more TargetMasters! I was impressed with Nightstick's tiny face.
