Most likely not, but we won't know for sure until someone posts comparison shots. For reference tho, MFT Magnus is ever so slightly taller than MS V2 Magnus, and generally MS bots are taller than NA bots. I would assume this UM will be at least slightly shorter than both options.

Hopefully that isn't true for Optimus Prime; I can live with it for the base bot since I probably will never display him that way.

It depends how you position the arm, right? It would be blocked most of the time.

Anyway, there are a couple of issues I have with the figure. One of them is the double chest. So I'm already not getting the figure.

But I got to say the transformation looks good.

Lukickly I don't plan on displaying him sideways with a bright light shining through him.

Meh. It’s not perfect, but what bot is? The transformation looks fun and since I like to transform my transformers (crazy, I know), I give some of these things a pass. But yes… the hole in the torso is certainly not as clean as the V1 MS Optimus.

NA only said that H28G will be out on sale early this month, and confirmed that H27 is original color OP. The release time for H27 was not mentioned here.

More accurately, "energy conversion H27" should be translated as something like "energized H27", and here NA meant the inner robot of H28G, not H27/OP.

I don't collect Legends figures but I do love Magnus, pictures of this have been appearing on Facebook en masse and it looks amazing.

So off I went to Show Z to get one but then I saw the Magic Square Prime 2.0 and that looks even sleeker and slicker then the cab robot for this!

I think I might be a legends collector now...

Thanks, that's good to know not to wait for their OP anytime soon :)  .
With the delay of it, hopefully there will be something surprised (not too dreamy, though)

One of us.... One of us... :lol
Once you start collecting legends, there's no going back. First it's 1 or 2 figures, and before you know it, you have all of it. it's a slippery slope, but legends stuff is definitely worth collecting! Only problem is trying to track down older stuff unfortunately. Hope you enjoy them if you get them!

I’m pretty sure I’m going to legends as well… especially with acoustic wave being $220+ it’s just not sustainable for me…

Be careful, MST Magnus needs a White Prime (sold separately years ago), it's just a bunch of pieces, like a Lego figure, nothing transforms. It means that every damn piece is placed over the White Prime.

NA looks more than a real Transformer. No pieces left on a drawer. I had MFT Magnus and I'm very disappointed with MST Magnus... I'm a one step closer of buying NA Magnus :lol .

I’m a mainline guy and a legends guy. I never got into MP stuff because it’s too expensive and it takes up a ton of space. I mean the mainline stuff is already kind of big (if you buy a ton of it… it just eats up shelf space). The legends figures are great though. They’re not cheap, but nowhere near as bad as MP stuff and the transformations are satisfyingly complex, without being insane like MP stuff. Totally worth jumping into the legends pool. :)

Funny, I have a story 70% similar to you.

I never got into any legend scale line before and this NA H28 is the first time I've bought a 3p legend scale figure, just because Magnus has always been my fav bot. After this one I feel compelled to buy more (such as an NA Galvatron to match this Magnus)...

It's a deep abyss, I mean the price and the MS NA competition thing, but I can see I will soon slide into this abyss...

I feel ya there! I love the way Fanstoys stuff looks but I never would've been able to afford it. My biggest issue was space. I don't regret diving into legends stuff at all! So worth it. :D
