I've done a digibash of bumblebee, and I think it's pretty good looking (pretty gud for a first try)
also first time posting an image here, sorry for the lack of skill
Look HasTak! An MP Toon Bumblebee that isn't an embarrassment at 1/10th the damn size.
Newage hits it out of the park every time.
I wonder if like a lot of NewAge's recent figures there will be a toy version? Black windows and a new head?
They are really one of the few companies that completely nail the perfect balance with their figures
I'm astounded with every reveal
I think this new one looks great. More mature, without that overly cutesy headsculpt of the original.
Reminds me a lot of 86 movie Bee, definitely getting!
Ok, fair enough. So maybe a better comparison would be their Megatron (6 months from grey proto to full colour), or the van bros (4 months).
My point being, it usually takes a number of months for full colour photos to show up, once the grey proto has been revealed.
Maybe H26H can be Hubcap and H26Y can be the straight up Yellow Cliffy....
NEWAGE H25 HERBIE (Bumblebee 2.0)
Oh, and H25G2 for the chrome-yellow G2 Bumblebee...
Ver.1 (Flipper) is small. Ver.2 (Herbie) is crazy small. Flipper is dwarfed by Hasbro Legends Class figures. For those who don't own Flipper, here are some comparison pics I took today. Thumbnails below.
Hasbro vs Mech Planet vs Newage. Also, pictured are Legends Class Kickback and Ground Solider A from Transformers: Devastation.
Flipper is barely taller than the WST Optimus Prime.
I agree with other posters, I prefer the chubby proportions ver.1 has, but the improved head sculpt, smaller feet, and toon accurate limbs are a really nice upgrade. Herbie looks like he scales really well with the Newage insecticons. I look forward to seeing the production model.
A plus of owning Newage Bee whether its Flipper or the upcoming Herbie, is that you can recreate this scene.
^Mech Planet is the one that is suitable with the CHUG, especially the Earthrise and Kingdom...
Meh. Looks like they were inspired by FT Spindrift 1.0.
...This toon-style legends Bumblebee was inspired by Fanstoys' non-toon-style MP Seaspray?
I don't quite follow.
can someone please tell me what is wrong with fake parts?
i have seen so many people on this website saying how much they hate them and im really curious as to why.
Can't speak for everyone, but the idea of transformers is that a vehicle turns into a robot; ie the vehicle parts become the robot parts. The robot and alt mode being pretty much separate and using none of the same parts is less interesting.
Personally, I prefer using the real vehicle parts when possible, but I'm okay with fake parts if necessary, as long as it doesn't result in a bunch of kibble in either mode.
Do we know for sure he partsforms?
I don’t think he does, was someone saying that?
First page, I think? Doesn’t seem NA’s style.
No one said partsforming. Fake parts is not partsforming.
Ah, that makes more sense.
