Sorry if this was shared:
Still want these decos for the last figure
But wouldn't mind something similar for this version.
hot damn, digging these alt colours… let the flood gates loose!
I got my set yesterday.
Short version, all in all I like them, and they fit beautifully in my NA display.
To elaborate a little more, I believe the high quality paint finish and head sculpts alone did absolute wonders, in this case. They both look great in alt mode - we all know that - but for a bot-mode-only guy like myself, that's pretty much irrelevant.
Once transformed they feel ok to me, with the premium coating and their minuscule size really making them look better than they actually are, in my opinion. Feet are awful, the legs come with distracting, miscolored flaps on the back and the whole body is basically fake parts + folded kibble. That said, I don't regret my purchase and I'll happily keep them until NA will give us something better.
Having had these bots for almost a week, I find myself liking them a lot more than the Magic Square version (although I still like them) and the version 1.0 Flipper. I just think they look so great from the front in bot mode, and while the side and back kind of evoke MP-45, a figure I do like but don't think is a great toy, it just haven't bothered me at all. I agree the back half of the feet are a bit much, but I got over them real quick. I did have to tighten up the joints but once I did, I just found them to be so much fun and so good looking, so I would say I'm very pleased with the purchase.
Hanging out with Megaconstrux He-Man:
Must be a quarterback
They are sooo tiny and sooo good.
I got mine in. So... I'm not going to pretend that these don't have kibble shoes, but damn if they aren't way better figures overall than the Bee 2.0 MP.
I'm just amazed at what these are.
Bee with some of his NA fellas:
Is that Hubcap?
Would mind a Glyph and Tap-Out after reading
but my number 1 priority are Hubcap and Bumber with the above two as number 2.
Not sure it’s Hubcap, because Hubcap didn’t have a spoiler. It could just be a yellow Cliffjumper.
I mean, it might be a Hubcap, but Newage usually pay attention to detail, and I’d expect their version of Hubcap to have a remoulded back end.
I mean, uhh.... sure, this has been said before, but...
These guys are small.
Like, my hands aren't that big?
Got my pack in, Bee is pretty solid no loose joints but Cliff his one really loose hip. Transformed both back and forth once. For the little bit of play I’m really liking them. They are worth the $60 that I paid. I think each are worth $30 individually.
The transformation is surprisingly smooth. These are superb little guys.
The smallest insignia I had barely fit on on loose hip cliff. Bring on the recolors!
Anyone that can take a photo of NA bee with Magic Square frenzy or rumble?
Yep, one page back
NEWAGE H25 HERBIE (Bumblebee 2.0) and N25 Cliffjumper
Just got my set and holy smokes they’re tiny! You read that time and again here but nothing prepares you for it when you see them for the first time! NA Insecticons were like that too, shocking when first seen in person.
edit: omg these alt modes are so tiny and adorable look sooo good. Almost worth the price of admission just for the alts.
I received my set earlier this week but I finally got to transform them. They're an awesome set. Newage did a great job. The transformation is pretty fun. The feet are interesting. It almost seems as they they start to fold, slide into place by themselves haha. I also really like the magnetic skii feature, so much better than having to hassle with small clips.
They are super small but the amount of detail, articulation, paint is incredible. The toon accuracy is also very good. I'd highly recommend these to anyome.
I also feel like that's their stronger plus.
They truly remind me of Micro Machines (one of my favorite things, back then).
