first release blue frumble was definitely darker and comparisons were made of it over MS colours being more accurate/preferred at the time. the re-issues came with revised blue frumble more lighter and accurate colours but it wasn't even announced by NA. reports just came in when ppl starting to get the re-issue in hand, but those were sparse and discussions tapered off about it fairly quickly. so it basically slipped under the radar for the most part because of that.

i have the first release for both toon and toy deco so have the darker ones. i didn't want to double dip and buy either again just to get the revised blue frumble. eventually managed to get a hold of the later blue frumble from a friend. ;)

they both should be the same shade colour, either darker for the first release, or lighter for the re-issues. the only difference if i remember correctly is that the toon version should have grey accents, and the toy version should have silver accents.

Just got this figure today. Is it supposed to come with a separate piece for the tip of his gun in the baggie, or is there some hiding place on the figure where it would be stored? I’m wondering if mine came without a piece.

It should have two, identical guns. There's also a 'barrel' part that inserts into one of them to complete the hand-held weapon. That should be the only assembly needed.

That’s what I was afraid of. I did get the two battery guns, but no insertable tip. Ah, I’ve got the Shattered Glass version coming, too, and it’s got the same color tip. (It was would be a pain to get a replacement since I got it from BBTS and they’re sold out now.)

Did you unfold your instructions to make sure it didn’t slip in there? Just checking since I’ve had a couple times I thought I had a missing part but it was hidden in the instructions booklet

Is there a proper way to keep Rumbles piledrivers on without falling off with the slightest of touch? Christ, everytime you breathe on it, they fall off? Is this a normal flaw? Besides his long-ass legs?

I haven't had any issues with Rumble, but did have issues with my cartoon Hound's tire in bot mode. A small bit of plastic cellophane/bit of plastic bag jammed in the connection provided enough friction to keep it on.

They're almost indistinguishable. I'd lean towards the toy one instead because it's much lighter blue.

The EX deco was the easy choice for me.

I’m not sure if SB got a reissue, but I know SW did so I would get him. EX did too. The reissues have improved /upgraded elbows. The original joint was very floppy.

If they both got reissues then I would go with whatever tapes you want.

the soundblaster colours have always spoken to me in a way that soundwave never could, so i think he may be the choice for me.

I'm glad you mentioned this, because I didn't know SB came with different tapes. Hopefully that Ratbat's included if they ever do a Marvel Comics deco for SW.
