Isn't one toy accurate and the other one show accurate?

But the darker frenzy is more accurate to the toy though which is the point of EX Soundwave.

Can you do a side by side comparison of Soundwave’s elbows?

Sorry--should have clarified. While this is the redone EX version, I have the toon version (should have said that instead of "first one") which came with "Blue Frenzy" the same as the original EX version. I just meant that this one comes out, and he's got "Purple Rumble," the way I think the toon release should have.

Isn't the first release based on toy colors and the EX on show colors? The first one had darker shades and came in a Diaclone styled box, and the EX in lighter shades and a G1 stled box?

The first release of H21 (toon version, dark purple) and H21 Ex (toy version, light blue) came with the dark blue Frumble (similar to original toy). The one that came with the toon version had light grey accents, the toy version came with silver accents (same accent differences with Laserbeak). Hard to tell in pictures, but can be seen side by side.

The reissues of H21 and H21 Ex come with the purple Frumble (looks more like cartoon) and the elbows of H21 and H21 Ex appear different.

I have H21, which comes is a Diaclone styled box, and the Scaramanga in it is dark blue and it's frumble is dark blue and light blue, wouldn't that be considered toy based rather than toon?

They advertised it as the toon version. The dark blue Soundwave was supposed to reflect how dark he was in the MTMTE pilot.

It still surprises me that both of those are small enough to choke on, not that I'd try to eat them consciously.

So the re-colored Frumble . . . he comes with the reissues of the standard and EX versions? Is that right?

Also: who's selling the reissue? Or: how do you know if what's being sold is the reissue or not?

    Thanks guys. :)

I got mine from Agabyss, where the figure was listed as ‘Scaramanga [Reissue]’, but sadly they’ve since sold out.
