    Hindsight being 20/20

Why hand out fliers, curious if social media posting would of been viewed the same by "Hasbro employees" out patrolling this "con"

I guess TFSource figured, "What's FunPub gonna do? Not allow us into next year's BotCon... OH WAIT"

How will tf source make any money now not having the chance of selling mp26 on the con floor

Hasbro is robbing everyone the chance of not buying a $45 road rage in person

Who doesn't love the "bad boy"

I'm proud to be waiting 2 to 4 weeks longer to get my ramjet from the source now. #teamsource

That's putting it lightly - more like a sex shop dumpster fire.

Were they kicked out for handing out flyers referencing their website, which just happens to sell Third Party items?

Politics and authoratarianism should never enter into anything by its its nature this lighthearted and positive. It just poisons the well of good will, sentiment, and fandom. It's cutting off your nose to spite your face imo.

Don't get me wrong, they are within their legal rights to do this, but it's a bit like saying Nintendo has the legal right to kill YouTube channels who do non-monetized Let's Plays of their games (read: free promotion) just because they didn't go through "proper channels." They have the right to do it, and no one is going to disabuse them of that right... but it's only going to make them look bad and accomplish little else.

LOL. Now the thread will be fun to read everyone's bitching.

How are they selling down the road? They rented a store? I'm picturing a van parked along the road and a bunch of folding tables. Flea market/garage sale style.

Or worse yet, some guy in a trenchcoat walking up to people going "hey buddy, I gots some of them illegal robitz." Guy opens the coat to display the inside lined with 3P boxes. Guy should have really worn pants though. Creepy.

Ugh. I'm finding myself in the position of having some respect for TFSource. I don't like it, but I must commend them for telling Botcon to shove it.

Cannot believe they had the balls to pull this. Good for them.

    Screw FunPub.

i know the feeling man. well at least funpube is gone now

i like how the club's custom class has a non hasbro endorsed product and other tables had PE kits there. but single out tfsource? okay... tfsource makes more business than fudgepub. which one of the two is losing a license? no worries, it's not like tfsource will be banned from next year's fackpub convention :)

Why are so many people convinced the policy against 3P has anything to do with Fun Pub? They work under the order of Hasbro. Do you think they want LESS business at their convention? That they want to sell less table space?

Also, the Enigma of Combination is technically a free gift. Probably how they got around that. As long as they are not selling it, no one cares.

Weird. Here I'm thinking good for FunPub.
