I've been doing the rounds in Wellington but nothing new to report that hasn't already been noted.

 

Been doing some rounds around in Auckland every so often but nothing new to report either. I'm beginning to worry they're skipping BB Soundwave, Kingdom Blaster and other such in favor of the Legacy and SS pre-orders they put up a while back.

 

Yea there hasn't been much new in ages, sucks as we were going so well getting Kingdom stuff, really well stocked and new waves fairly quickly! Now of course because I don't order from overseas trusting us to get it we don't get the final wave.  

I really want Blaster and those last 2 deluxes.

I know Blaster is getting re-printed in Legacy but as someone who actually collected the Kingdom cards that come with them I was hoping to get that version.  

 

Yeah I'm with you - more keen on the Kingdom packed Blaster. Fingers crossed he turns up as like you I held off buying him from overseas in the hope he would get released here. SS Bumblebee Soundwave is starting to show up in AU so hopefully won't be too long to arrive here.

Does this mean he is going to start showing up at Warehouse and Kmart??

 

That just means the pre-order sold out. We'll still have to wait and see when they actually do show up in stores.

Thanks for the heads up on this. Though wondering if this means we won't be seeing the Kingdom Packaged version here....

 

Tigatron didn't even make it to the Warehouse etc like we had assumed, just a limited Toyworld one.   At this point I doubt we'll be seeing any of the last Kingdom stuff.

With Legacy looming most retailers have probably just planned to go straight into that next. Especially considering there is still leftover Kingdom stuff on the shelf, they just got too many restocks of the same thing and not enough people wanting it.

 

That pretty much has always been the problem with our distribution. We stagnate behind the US releases to a point where when the next line is revealed and Hasbro NZ goes "Shit guys, the new stuff in the USA got shown off!" and they cancel anymore current releases to try and play catch up. Rinse and repeat.

Honestly, Kingdom was a goddamn miracle for us that I doubt we'll be seeing again for a long time unless Hasbro NZ really buckles down and gets their act together.

As an aside, is anyone else's stores crammed with Galvatrons? I'm getting a cold feeling we won't get Legacy Galvatrons due to Kingdom overstock.

 

YES! so many Galvatrons sitting shelves at my local Warehouses and Farmers stores. Also I counted 90 Netflix WFC Optimus Primals/Sparkless Seekers at my local Kmart! Probably overstocked due to the popularity of the prior waves which had Optimus, Megatron, Hotlink and Soundwave...

 

Kmart Petone? I have to say my wallets been enjoying the break though!

Legacy Blaster at Toyworld Wellington but for some reason the price is $10 more that what they had them for on the Toyworld website - $79.99. Might have to go back and pick one up though as a little worried we may not see them turn up anywhere else due to overstock of old releases.
