They're back up!
TRU LIC as of 11/29:
MP Movie Optimus Prime (crushed box @ $100)
MP-10 Optimus Prime x2 (1 crushed box, 1 slip case missing - $160 each)
The Last Knight: Drift x2, Sqweeks x5, Leader Megatron x5, Hound x2, voyager OP x2
As I was paying for my 3DS XL and a game, an employee removed the MP10's off the shelf, who would pay $160 for damaged products?
the MPM-4 has a broken parts
hey guys, how come headmaster series Arcee doesn't have box art?
So that explains the rattling of parts within the box, same goes for the crushed MP-10 box. Guess the boxes weren't properly shipped to the store then, or mishandled while unpacking a delivery truck.
Forbidden Planet near Union Square is pretty cool. Also, if you like books, Strand Bookstore is near there too.
I just checked two local Targets on LI but didn't find anything. Didn't ask anyone if the figures were in the back though. Kinda wish I had now. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.
Thanks! I've been plotting a walking tour off these locations so it looks like I'll be in for a bit of a journey. Are the two Midtown Comics stores that come up on a Google search that aren't near Times Square worth bobbing into?
Midtown Comics near Times Square (40th Street and 7th Ave.) will have Transformers on the 2nd level from time to time. There's another one near South Street Seaport (Fulton St. between Ryders Alley and Cliff St.).
There’s also a midtown comics by grand central. No reason to hit all of them. I’d say just stick to the big one.
Henrietta Target still hasn't reset the department - a full case minus a Swoop and a Slug is in the stockroom. (I just left with those )
POTP Jazz found at Irondequoit Target. POTP Skrapnel found at Penfield Target.
The midtown store (the main one near Penn Station on 40th) is probably the best of the three. No real reason to go to the Grand Central store. Even if you're up by Grand Central Station, it's out of the way. The Fulton St store you can check out if you happen to be by the Freedom Tower. It's smaller but it's nice and it's typically where they host their events.
Toysrus in Commack had 0 POTP stuff, but had a 20% Off all Transformers sale. Target had no POTP on the pegs and shelves, asked someone to grab me Slug from the back. Apparantly they had no Voyagers in stock at all?
Holy crap, finally...! Picked up the clones set at Walgreens at 2970 Niagara Falls Blvd in Amherst. Ten sets in stock; now nine left. AND they’re on sale for $13.49. They’re kind of in their own section away from the other Transformers, but still in the toy aisle.
The Monroe target had the first wave of power of the primes deluxe figures last night. Two of everybody except the Dinobots. They only had one of each of them.
Thanks for letting us know. I picked up one this morning and now there are seven left. Very much appreciated.
Westbury target has a bunch of SNES classics if anyone needs it.
Wave one POTP Deluxes on an end cap at Niskayuna Target.
Wolf rd TRU had a good on of New TLK Toys, but no Cogman. Also no POTP toys.
Looks like TRU.com had Legends POTP $ Deluxe POTP for $7.99 & $13.59! All sold out!
