You guys mention Mattel a lot, but... they're not doing so well right now. They just lost the Disney properties, right? That's a big blow. And Hasbro is absorbing the Saban Power Rangers brand, as well. So Hasbro will EASILY fill an entire aisle, IRREGARDLESS of what is actually on those shelves.

In fact, now that I mention it? I bet you they place the PR brand next to the TFs. :sly:

Ugh that's dumb. But I agree then, Needlenose vs Tracks makes the most sense, because Wheeljack and Mirage already have recent figures, and I don't need another deluxe Impactor.. he needs to be Voyager or Leader.

Not so, hasbro will be able to fill MOST of an aisle. However, since they lost Jurassic Park to Mattel, they’ll still be missing a TINY portion of it. :p

my point is generations isnt going anywhere, potp is becoming wfc. currently there are 3 lines on shelves, rid15, potp and tlk. tlk is going to become studio series this year and rid15 will become cyberverse. studio series will become bumblebee around christmas. around the same time potp will become wfc. so starting 2019 you will have cyberverse and wfc, so no it doesnt make sense you saying wfc will fill the spot of bayverse becuase it will already be filling the spot of potp

I really hope they handle Power Rangers with more effort than they did with Jurassic Park.

I hope we finally get some megazords with fragging articulation. That’s been my biggest gripe with that franchise since I was like 5.

That'd be nice. Along with zords that are designed to be cool toys on their own, for once.

    I'd love to see a Power Rangers line made by the Marvel Legends design team, especially considering;
    1. How awesome 2018 Marvel Legends are looking.
    2. Bandai's really unsatisfying attempt at copying that line.
    3. The world really needs a modern 6" scale Goldar!

That's more on sentai and japan, since the show over there is literally just a show for toddlers.

And my point was that if Hasbro expand's the amount of the "Generations" figures next year (Be it POTP or WFC) to compensate not releasing new Movie-verse figures, then it could benefit those who don't buy Movie-verse crap in the first place....Which many others can relate to.

Last year I spent close to $1K on TR, Takara and POTP figures. This year I'm skipping all the POTP leader class, Titan Predaking and most of the Voyager's. So I probably won't even break $300 due to low quality and a lack of Generation's figures.

Next year could be as great as 2017 was if not better which would be in Hasbro's best interest since movie fans won't really be opening up their wallets next year.

Like most Transformer toys, I'm sure Predaking and the Predacons will be better in-hand than in these images. I'm more interested in the individual bots than the combined mode. With only five bots instead of the six we got for Devastator at the same price, I hope they're a smidge more detailed and articulated than the Constructions were.

There is, admittedly, a part of me that wants to vote Impactor vs. Mirage simply due to the fact that Impactor only has two official toys, one that is not very true to the source and one that is extremely rear. So voting for them is good for others. I thing the lack of any good and easy to acquire Impactor is going to swing the vote that way, but we could make the same case for Needlenose and Spinister.

I think the rangers should be handled by the Marvel or Star Wars team, and the zords by some Transformers folks.

The fact that Impactor doesn't have any good official toys is precisely the reason I don't want to waste another iteration of him on a Deluxe figure. If they make this figure, they'll probably never do him in voyager or bigger.

I've been using Energon Landmine as a stand-in for now. He's got good size, a shoulder canon, and some other elements that make it work. Also I think his power-up armor is very fitting of a "Wreckers" feel.

I think the best thing that came out of this weekend wasn’t even a transformer. The return of the star wars vintage line is back , and the 4 foot long Jabba sail barge ! There goes my bank account .

Damn, if I gave a crap about movie toys, I'd be so freaking excited for these. Happy for the fans who are probably going nuts over Studio Series right now.

starscream looks like mechtech deluxe starscream with a weijiang treatment.
same transformation, but with a few small improvements.
I see some improved joints, a new paint job, and a pair of gap-filling flaps, but the rest seems to be the same.

the amount of titans return was reduced compared to combiner wars and its looking like power of the primes is again going to be smaller than titans return. if theyre going to a 12 month cycle for their generations sublines then its not very logical to assume theyll be increasing the amount of generations product they put out
