But seriously, I really want reveals on more Kingdom stuff. No way they'd let us off without giving us Rhinox, Scorponok, and Wazzzpinator (IIRC all 3 were rumored). Also, I really hope we get a Sunstorm from the Earthrise Seeker mold, though that feels more like a Selects release than Kingdom proper.

I'm definitely curious how they are going to chance the Siege Megs to justify a 4th version of that figure in such a way that won't be a massive disappointment. After the intitial battle damage deco, the cel shaded walmart exclusive, the shiny metallic deco from the first round of Netflix repaints what the heck can they do this time? A clean deco of the bare grey plastic? I certainly hope not as its going to take more than just a non battle damage release the first release grey colored one to make anyone give a shit. Maybe something happens on the show this time to change up his look again or something.

But as for HOW that figure combo amounts to a spoiler (and what it obviously suggests) I know a lot of Beast Wars purists probably hate the idea but I'm totally into some of the G1 characters reformatting into the Beast Wars characters. Hell, as a kid I never could see the cartoon because it aired after I had to get on the bus for school so I just assumed BW Megs and Optimus Primal WERE the G1 characters as animal modes anyway - so making that cannon for some iteration of the brand is totally fine by me.

 

Honestly, I have basically given up on the theory. Still gonna wait for the reveal to fully give it up, but I strongly doubt it's Magnus at this point. I even edited my original post to say that

It also doesn't make sense at that price point. We're not getting a battlemaster as the toss in but a deluxe fossilizer. Just trust the sources (proven right again today with T-Wrex image). They are unlikely to do another Spoiler Magnus given that they are practically giving away the first one, and I doubt they'do a Galvatron when that figure may not even be released by the time the spoiler pack hits shelves.

Accept that it is Siege Megs and move on.

 

Thank god, the main problem with BW Megatron is that he's got too charming a personality. Finally someone will write him just clenching his teeth and growling "PRIIIIME" a lot.

You forgot Nemesis also came with arm blasters and Giga from the potp nemesis. That spoiler pack was actually good and came with a ton of stuff.

 

I’m suitably intrigued enough now that I decided to preorder him after all. I’ve already purchased 4 Megatron Voyager retool/redecos in the past year, why not have another go?

 

Picked up Retro Soundwave.

 

I want that primal, but going to wait on some reviews first to see if the colors are actually metallic as the product shots seem to imply. If not I’ll just get the regular voyager.
