I think it's just kinda the angle. Cause it's sort of street level lookin up.....With the horns etc..it's probably just giving the illusion. In the scene where all auto bots are standing together, drift looks pretty darn big and thick...to me. Doesn't look too much shorter than OP

I don't know if this has been pointed out, but if you pause at 0:14 just before Stinger's 'morph' transformation, you can see the blue hatchback is rigged to be flipped. In other words, poor editing.

 

You mean the small light blue car at 0:08 into the spot? Yeah you can see its sitting on the catapulting device they use to flip the cars over lol. It's wheels are not even touching the street.
