You know I think I'll apologize for the second half of my first reply. I just wanted to point out that the movie is near release and perhaps yelling out complaints that they could fix would be too late.

 

Apology accepted, but I'm not really criticizing out of hope it'll change anything. If criticizing the movies' depiction of the 'Cons was gonna do anything, I think they would've fixed it by the fifth film. I'm just holding out hope one of these spots will surprise me and voicing my feelings on the boards.

Y'know, that's actually a really good theory   But then again, the toy for Infernocus comes with a little trans-blue Quintessa figurine, which kinda makes me believe that other people are right about the Infernocons possibly being guardians or just warriors of Quintessa. There's so much I wanna know, and so little time left until we find out! Those 12 days are gonna feel reeeaally long though, assuming that I can still purchase an Optimus Prime Time ticket for my nearby IMAX theater. (I usually prefer watching movies in the morning at a different and better theater for a better experience, smaller crowds, cheaper tickets, and because of overall personal preference, and I would usually skip on IMAX because of this, but I mean this time they're giving free exclusive t-shirts, and it's still of course IMAX 3D, free small popcorn while supplies last HAHA, it'll be my first movie premiere, and also they're bound to give a TLK movie poster since it's Edwards and it's IMAX.)

I wouldn't exactly call the General character as "very recognisable". I've seen all three of the original trilogy at least thrice each and I have no idea who the heck this returning character is supposed to be.

I think that's because the tv spots are human-focused compared to the trailers.

The movies are the part of TF that employs a human perspective. The positive side of that approach is having the TFs shown as aliens, a little mysterious and so much larger than life. What I find interesting in this movie is how much more the storyline is focused on TFs compared to previous movies. We have human involvment, but TRF is fighting TFs, Sir Burton tells a story of TF on Earth (they are the constant, while human element changes), Viviane discovers her connection with TFs, Cade wants to save Optimus, and what is happening is the story of TFs' fight against Quintessa. Humans are the mouthpiece of this story, but it is most definitely a TF story  

That's my opinion, but I am biased. I love Transformers and Arthurian legends  

 

If Megatron dies again in TLK and is revived again in the next mainstream movie I will just be done. Forever.
