This HasbroVerse does seem to be a Go.

 

I thought 5 factions was already a lot to deal with. Now Unicron might be in the mix??

This is only the first follow-up to Bumblebee, and it has 3 movies' worth of content packed in it. I'm worried.

 

it's a reboot. Quit dancing around that.

Nobody important cares about the long-term consequences of universe timelines anyway.

I wonder if all those little nods to Unicron Trilogy hint at more inspirations from it in the future? What if the secret in Peru are the Minicons?  

 

“As many of you have likely deduced by now”... who exactly deduced that? Nobody has even hinted that Unicron will be in the movie lol, where is the source on this?

 

It's reassuring that regardless of what continuity this ends up being in it'll still be it's own thing (although I really hope we're done with the Bayverse). Cheetor makes the most sense to feature in this movie (he's one of the most popular Beast era characters). The Unicron stuff seems interesting although I'd rather they save that for later installments and focus on making a solid movie without setting up a bunch of sequels.

 

@Protoman of the Transformers Slag YouTube Channel. He had a set visit and has given not so subtle hints about a big bad that isn't Wheelie.

 

Hopefully the Unicron stuff are merely 'hints for future movies' than actual unironic Unicron being there already so early

don't see how Nightbird switching sides is influenced by Sideways; it's not like it's an uncommon thing.

Same with Unicron. Reading all this doesn't make me assume "ah ha Unicron of course"

 

Bumblebee benefited from being such a low-scale film that basically had 3 bots the entire film. Now they are having 5 factions in the very next film, 3 of which the general public are most likely not aware of. This is not likely to go well at all.

 

i guarantee the refusal to outright admit that is purely because of LORENZO DI BONAVENTURA, he's dragged the movies through the mud as much as bay

 

Huh, so possibly a reboot, but more towards focusing on a era...or in this cases, eras.  I worry about four factions, all these bots in a possibily 2 he 45 min movie. Sure, seems long enough but people bitch there wasn\'t enough Autobots and cons; 2 factions. Now let\'s throw in 2 more factions. 

 

So not saying if it's part of the Bayverse pretty much makes it a reboot, otherwise, they would have straight up said it's part of it. My guess is they're not trying to piss off Bayverse fans thus preventing negative PR early on.

 

Maybe they'll be building Unicron up like Thanos? Also I'm really hope Jazz will get another shot at the big screen again one day

Why?

You've got good guys and bad guys. The good guys will work together and the bad guys will work together. Their factions are secondary.

 

Nothing they do will prevent fans from being p.o.’d about anything.

 

I mean, if it's still trying to figure out how it fits in the Bayverse..if at all..."Earth is Unicron" is still on the table.
