:lol  No, really? You mean to tell me that a show based on a children's franchise looks like it's made for kids?

I really liked the Arcee design....from the blurry preliminary photo. Now that the image is clear I see she has the same huge manly chin as all the other characters. Sigh.

That was one thing I really DIDN'T want to see them import from Animated.

I don't think Bee looks out of place at all. Sure, the outline of the character design is movie Bee. But visually it's in a completely different aesthetic style that matches the others.
I think what some are getting hung up on is not so much the character design, visually, but more that it is pretty much the same character. I know some people wish they could get the little sidekick yellow dude back, but right now, in this generation, Bee's a big but kicking muscle car warrior.

    That's Arcee.

I don't think she really has a big chin so much as she has a bit of a elongated face.

The animation and artwork look sweet.

why can't October 10th, 2010 come any sooner. I even like the Megatron design surprisingly.

Yea at this point all we really have to go by is just a few pictures and the unfinished clip so there is no telling what his personality might be like in the cartoon. Even if he's an action heavy character that would still leave so much room for the character sort of like how Batman and Spiderman both like to swing in and punch bad guys in the face but they are such different characters.

I'd say the biggest question about Bee, right now, is will he have a voice?
I'm personally not holding my breath, but if it does turn out to be true that Josh Keaton is voiceing him, then that'd be great in defining him a little bit more from the movie character.

Wow, I cant wait for this show to come out. The characters are pretty cool but Meg's chest is just blah.

Overall it looks like a fantastic cartoon.

This is just taking a guess and nothing more than pure speculation on my part, but I'd put my money on a voice for Bumblebee in the cartoon. With a movie you've only got only around 2 hours and the budget to afford the royalties on the songs that let Bumblebee communicate. I just can't see the cartoon affording that since if it takes off well with kids Transformers Prime could be running for years.

Maybe just the silent type like Snake Eyes from GI Joe or perhaps Bumblebee will only used made up talk radio instead of copy righted things. But a voice seems like a better option for story telling.

If he doesn't have an actual character voice, I very much expect them to use mockup sound bites of generic things you'd hear on the radio and tv.

It'd actually be kind of funny if they got the whole cast to do all the different sound bites for Bee, then technically everyone would voice Bee in the show. :p

That is kind of an interesting one to see on the roster, given Mattel has the rights to the DC label. You would think it'd be more likely to see a Marvel show, like maybe the original X-Men cartoon, on the Hub.

any one else notice the lack of noses for the transformers? at least in that close up?

and i like how they made their heads all look like they are wearing helmets, * medieval style even*

i really like the designs, they look way more roboty and alien, then even bay's did.

plus it looks really slick, and it appears that they are using the transformations, instead of what they did in the past and used stock footage, which i hate lol

I agree, that was actually something that TFA did that I really liked. The more "nose guard" look just seems to work better imo. It's a lot more subtle then the literal robo noses.

What do robots need with noses anyway?
