I actually really like this "If I Fall" song.

And I'm absolutely not expecting everyone to be a Linkin Park fan. But since they were in the Live Action movies and just revealed they were back with a new singer, this song would have also fit perfectly with the plot of the movie. The lyrics almost follow the events.

 

To be honest, I did not enjoy If I fall.
The emptiness machine was fun.
But this new fan made song caught my eye. I suggest you hear to it too
Is it just me, or is it really great for smth like TF One.

A change of a few lyrics and it would be a fine, run-of-the-mill rap song. Perfectly serviceable. As-is, for Transformers? No. Just doesn't feel like a great fit.
Same with what happened with ROTB. Great song, just not a good fit for the movie, but it was a good song overall.

Agreed. It’s giving off phoned in pop/rap song for a basic movie deal. At least it’s just in the credits and the actual movie has 100% OST

 

mediocre. if this is the end credits song, they completely dropped the ball because they could've played the remixed transformer's theme they played near the end of the second trailer. This song feels like it's part of a Transformers One skin bundle as a music pack in Fortnite.

 

That's a good way of describing it. Although, I'd say phoned-in music is slightly better than this. It's just...ill-fitting. Glad to hear it's not going to bog down the movie itself.

It'd be a serious shame if they simply put that orchestral version of the original theme in the trailers and not anywhere in the movie itself.

The names of Optimus And Megatron are just nameslaps and formality.
Even the Prime and Matrix were just puns, I guess.
Seriously man, they should've just used my dog's howling sound and remixed it with autotune. It would have been better

 

0 passion was put into the song, and what's worse is that "Are we dreaming" guy. He should've stuck to making beats. His vocals were TRASH! Quavo's lyrics sounded like Hasbro reminded him mid-performance that it's a Transformers song, and he went, "Uh Uh Optimus.......Megatron!" Its hilarious that corny jingle from earthspark has more energy than this AI sounding slop. I know I look like a crazy hater, but it makes me mad that we went from "On my soul" to this! ATP bring back Imagine Dragons or that guy who sang "Torches"

 

Its about as forgettable and generic as when I heard it during the credits.
There's nothing specific that's hugely awful about this song, IMO, but it feels phoned-in, written by AI, etc. "On My Soul" might not have set the world on fire but at least it felt to me like someone was trying with it.

A cgi/editing/AI song generation/professional body language seminar company? This doesn't look 'fan-made', this looks like a business trying to latch onto an upcoming movie to advertise themselves. Pass.

 

Transformers needs to stay in the rock or epic orchestral territory.

 

Admittedly I'm not really opposed to them trying new things regarding the soundtrack... but if it's weak, it's weak.
