That's not necessarily true; plenty of on-screen celebs have done brilliant VA jobs. For example, the cast of the 2016 Jungle Book and Bradley Cooper in Guardians of the Galaxy.

I would say cast professional VAs for the supporting Beast Warriors and cast celebrity voice actors (only experienced ones) for the main guys.

 

I feel like SDCC is almost guaranteed. It's a huge opportunity for film announcements, and the WFC show will be out by then so Hasbro won't have much else to talk about.

Perfect opportunity to introduce Lio Convoy to Western audiences. They can cast a celebrity as his voice since he's never had an English voice before, there's no sense of what he's "supposed" to sound like.

 

So if the live action Transformers films can get Peter Cullen and Frank Welker to reprise their roles, this new Beast Wars movie can get Garry Chalk and David Kaye, right? Yeeeeessss.

We have people saying not to act all concerned and just to blindly support anything that’s announced. Considering the past 10 years of the franchise’s reputation being damaged and these writers track records I think anyone has the right to be concerned about these movies. These writers have me genuinely concerned. Not to be cynical but there's a big chance this Beast Wars movie will be a dumpster fire.

It's Twitter, so probably a total nobody that applied for a position at Hasbro that they were completely unsuitable for and never got a reply.

 

My guess is probably by the end of the year when they announce its cancellation before production even starts.

Honestly, I enjoyed it, took my son and his buddy to see it, we had a blast. I won’t defend its misteps, but its solid Terminaty action.

 

For the most part it's a snooze fest plus a new angsty "savior"

The fact that the movies are in development was literally just revealed. We have no idea who any of the actors or actresses are going to be.
