Is the site reliable?
Yes... variety, the Hollywood reporter, deadline are the only reliable sources.
I usually only pay attention to ign so I'm not really aware of what's reliable outside of them lol
Here goes the confusion again...
At this rate I just want another movie, give me SOMETHING.
I want to believe. I want to have hope. However, I’ll believe it when I see it. Right now, it seems Hasbro is really riding that “Geewun or bust” train and shows no signs of getting off of it anytime soon.
Sounds like a r rated film is possible
Sounds cool but I kind of doubt it lol
From Cyberverse and evergreen to the Bumblebee move designs, it is absolutely clear that Hasbro's strategy moving forward is to tap into the G1 aesthetic. I would prepare yourself if I were you.
if it does than its extremely important that we prove to hasbro that non g1 stuff is profitable
Sounds like a terrible idea, especially for a franchise that the main purpose is to sell toys and other merchandise
And yet R rated movies seem to be able to spawn toy franchises anyway.
Hell, a new Alien toyline just came out from Lanard.
Giant purple alien queen kids toy.
There's even a pack with a power loader.
Knightverse - Lower Budget/Good Story/Good Characters/Some Bucks
Bayverse - Higher Budget/Trash Story/Trash Characters/Big Bucks
Question - If the Knightverse is going to be G1 inspired, will Grimlock be his inaccurate T-Rex again ?
I'd like to see them use AOE/TLK as a base skeleton, FOC under armor, coated with some G1 class.
Guy who wrote Zodiac is attached to one....that was an interesting movie but LONG. Wonder which Transformers that guy will be writing.
We’ve been getting G1 content up the butt for quite awhile, so most of us are prepared. However, some of us are just annoyed. As I’ve said before, it’s insane that Hasbro has a nearly 40 year old franchise that is rich with characters, designs, settings, and universes in the palm of their hands, yet they constantly choose to tap into the first 2 years (they’re constantly rehashing G1, but they only rehash the first two seasons) while practically ignoring everything else. I have no qualms with G1 and enjoy it as much as the next person, but holy crap.
Bayverse ceased making money after AoE.
Bumblebee made moderate bucks mostly because it was not a very expensive movie. This brand doesn't really work for spin-offs.
I don't know how they're going to do this, but they need a new formula one way or another.
Remember TASM 2 flopped due to studio interference
It didnt flop, the studio was just dissapointed by the reactions and terrible reviews
According to Deadline, there is a rumor of the other movie being Beast Wars

I read the article, couldn't find a source it provided. A little odd.
what do you mean it wasn't received well? Pharell Williams making asmr for electro is a brilliant idea
Separate names with a comma.
