Not quite that early. As far as I can find, Mouth04 broke the news on the Allspark on 6/18/05 (here), which was 6 months before people started finding BW10.

Six months from now seems like a reasonable possibility for seeing the Neo-G1 toys on the shelves, given that we saw proto pictures nearly 4 months ago at BotCon. Then again, who's to say that this listing isn't showing up even earlier relative to release? At any rate, since the two size points in the listing match the Hasbro team's stated plans for the redux toys, I see no reason to think a line called "Classic" would be anything else at this point.

Isn't it possible that these are the Bonus Minicon / Cybertron boxed packages for Target's upcoming Spring endcap that features Bonus packs and the Universe Ultras?
Do we have a DPCI Number for them yet?

Honestly, I would love for it to be G1, but "Classic" Deluxes & voyagers to me could just me Hot Shot, Dirt Boss, and the early characters from Cybertron before all the repaints.

how do you become a "classic" when you're only 6 months old and can still be found on shelves??

I wouldn't mind seeing an OVA for the filler line. A nice feature length movie by mainframe would rock.

Not trying to be rude, but no. If it were anything that's part of Cybertron it would say so in the item description.

I'm positive it's the neo-G1 line and the Universe Contructicons. And probably Repugnus and Overbite since ultras are 3 per case.

The Seacons arent dead. Hasbro officially stated during Botcon that they wanted to release the set, just havent found a retailer yet. And maybe they have, and we don't know yet. And if not, they will probably become an online exclusive like reissue Astrotrain.

And I don't believe ever hearing Hasbro say Target was getting the LAST Universe Ultras, all they said was that Universe would be finished save for store exclusives, it doesnt mean this are the last toys.

I sure as hell do. So do lots of other people.

As for the G1 revisited line, it sounds like alot of fun. Though I'm personally starting to get sick of all the endless use of G1 characters, it will be nice to FINALLY see Megatron as a gun again. And a new Soundwave would be really cool as well. Here's hoping that we will see some figures at Toyfair next month

Yeah, sounds like the "Neo G1" stuff to me too. It fits with what was already stated by Hasbro and I don't think it's too early for us to see them.

And I thought my Transformer hunting would be finished after Cybertron was done.. If those are G1 figures, it's gonna be a real drain on the wallet..

I hope it's a bunch of repackaged shelfwarmers. :ev:  Just kidding, I'm rooting for updated classics too.

I've said this before but, that's got to be one of the cutest baby pics I've ever seen!

yeah, this pretty much HAS to be the G1 redux line, nothing else makes sense - i'd say Deluxes and Voyagers being the only listings is as close to "absolute" as can be.

wonder if there's any chance we'll see wave 1 at Toy Fair? seems like Bot Con would be getting awfully close to release for Hasbro to get to "premiere" the line ~ maybe SDCC? what month is that...

Call me crazy, but I think it's the cancelled Universe figures we saw years ago like the Smokescreen colored Armada Hotshot, Drench colored Armada Wheeljack, and TM Waspinator
