Honestly, I think a redeco of leader Megatron would actually be "ok" for soundwave with a chance to incorporate the cassettes. They could change into missile salvos, spare water tanks, upgraded / armored cannon. The cannon could fold over and become his shoulder cannon if they design it to detach. Only thing is I don't want Megs right hand bot to look just like him, only reason I don't like the idea. I do want Soundwave to be bigger than deluxe tho

 

Now we need Ratbat. Then they can repaint the hell out of all of them and get Howlback, Garboil, Enemy, Rosanna, Flipsides, Wingthing, etc.

 

While my money's on Soundwave being a heavy Hot Spot remold, Soundwave as Rook does makes a lot of sense, given the ports all over that figure.

The cassettes' alt modes could be weapons/turrents.

I suspect Wheelie is going to be a Groove repaint. Bit leggy, but the upper body works too well to ignore.

How many of the CW legends have had retooling other than new heads...if none would it be possible that Wheelie and Frumble (who'd both need some retooling outside of the new head to work) would be entirely new molds as opposed to retools of Blackjack/Rodimus and Groove???

 

Very happy to see news of a legends Wheelie. Now repaint Gears as Brawn, give us Kickback, Seaspray, and Goldbug, and I will shut up about legends forever. I mean it.

 

Looking forward to these releases and I do also hope that we get a Kickback, Brawn and Gnaw eventually. Outback, Seaspray and Beachcomber too.

And of course a deluxe Nautica and Firestar.

 

Me too, and then reading on these boards people complaining on how they can not find any because other collectors (who will be referred to as scalpers) are buying all of them up in order to army build.

 

I hope Ravage is some kind of land vehicle.

 

In theory *any* Legends figure could fit in the Truck Torso's chest cavity as long as it has the two peg holes and isn't any longer/wider. They could easily build an entirely new chassis on top of the main panel and be fine.

Same with the Fire Truck. As long as it has two pegs that can plug in there *anything* could turn into a chest piece. They could also tool it to have a weapon mode (Groove already has a phantom peg/hole that don't do anything currently).

And the Jet Torso doesn't even have a combination port at the moment. Though they could do something clever with the opening in its chest when the combiner head is deployed.

 

Hmm, I'll definitely want Wheelie to finish my 1986 movie cast.

 

keep in mind there are 5 other Throttlebots, the Firebots and Firecons, Reflector, Triggerbots and Triggercons, Pretender monsters, and Powerdashers that would make for pretty legit Legends

 

Brought up the need for Wheelie about a week ago.

It's likely a Blackjack repaint which is fine. It's basically all I'll need to complete the season 3 band (Well the Autobots anyway).

If Rumble is just a repaint of that God awful Groove mold then Hasbro can shove it! I'm fine with my PE Rumble and Frenzy and it would take something Par or better to replace them. Same with 2.0 Ravage.

 

All these need to happen and now...especially Gnaw and Seaspray...and Firestar...hoping we can get Moonracer out of Wheelie from the club or Hasbro...

 

Hopefully we start to see some of those characters get the legends treatment. I wouldn't mind a non-Cybertronian Bumblebee/Goldbug mold. If Hasbro was willing to do as much remolding as they done for CW deluxes you could get a lot of characters Cliffjumper/Hubcap, Throttlebots, Battlechargers ...

 

Please don't Wheelie be a Blackjack re-paint. Ugh, if that's the case than I'll stick with the GDO. I can't have Hot Rod and Wheelie from the same mold, it feels wrong.

 

We still need Brawn, Seaspray, Beachcomber, Pipes and Outback.

 

So, I suppose this means that rumoured new Soundwave is actually coming.

Still, I really hope that he's not a combiner since I would prefer a really well-done new Soundwave in the Generations line (The FoC version was good but I would prefer one with a more classic feel).

 

Yeah, well I'm passing on that Hotrod repaint anyway. Since I still have the Deluxe Classics version there's really no need for it.

That's not to say that I wouldn't prefer Wheelie in a new mold. With Hasbro it's just not that likely.
