The neo-G1 line is coming THAT early!? It's gonna have to be running alongside the Cybertron toys, then...

    ETA - 8/4/06 @ Target ?

Is that the 8th of April 2006, or the 4th of August 2006? Depending on how the ETA is written (US style or Canadian style, as I was taught)... though it's far more likely to be August, right?

    Sounds good.

That seems on par for what current deluxes are...in Delaware anyway.

Damn, they're keeping the Voyager name. Mega was better.

Ack! August huh? Guess they'll arrive just in time for my B-day... and since I work at a Target... heh... course if they come out sooner somewhere else I'll nab them there first. Wonder if they're going to be running at the same time as Cybertron now or if Cybertron is going to be finished once they release Primus? That wouldn't give him alot of sell time given his June/July tentative release date as stated at Botcon... still, I'll be happy to see these new figures.

Sweet, and by that time, the Target that's being built should be done. Also, by that time I can reorginize my shelves for the umpteenth time so I have a somewhere to put them:D

i'd imagine a couple of things:
    1. inflation. it happens.

    2. current Deluxes are pushing the bounderies of what the $15 BW-RiD era Megas were size and complexity-wise

    3. the described the G1 redux line at Botcon as "Alternators detail with Cybertron Play Value" - that, to me, sounds like a lot to squeeze into $10...

    4. other similar "nostalgia" lines have been release at a bit of a premium, the Star Wars Vintage figures, the Beast Wars 10 figures...

I crapped my pants at the same time too. I just hope it really is the new stuff and not repackaged stuff.

I wonder how many people are going to be waiting outside of Target at 8am on 8/4/06... and then getting pissed when the toys aren't there.

I didn't want to get my hopes up, but that date sounds about right for when they said the Neo-G1 line is coming out...

but for 13 bucks a pop, those deluxes had better be the Neo-G1 line. I'm certainly not going to pay that for figures like the A. Sideswipe/C. Runamuck mold... bleck...

Still, I can't wait to see these... Where's Nevermore and his godly future-seeing powers?
