    I guess it's to differentiate him between Grimlock. To most kids they are the same thing: big dinosaurs that eat people.

    is no one really gonna mention the bat looking thing flying around? hes in the background of the drift shot. I don't think its strafe because it has a single long tail

    I think he resembles Boba Fett, but with the helmets of the Predator and Tony Stark and using safari gear.

    I think that gold face on Drift is a mask. You can hear him yelling "arggh!" but his lips don't move at all and he has the same facial expression. Also in that other shot with all the bots if you look at the side of Drifts face it looks he has some detail possibly even some robot facial hair unlike this gold face.

    His "arggh" did sound a bit muffled didn't it? I agree that I too still think his gold face is a mask.

    Now that Bumblebee shot makes sense. I always wondered why it seem like he was shooting a boat while being chased.
