Well, that pretty much confirms the re-release of 20th Op then.

    And, interestingly, LOCs for TRU.

That would be Great. Hey, Hasbro I WIIL most certainly buy another 20th Ann. Prime if it comes with a transformable trailer & roller.

The price increase is interesting. I wonder if that extra $20 will be enough to cover the cost of a trailer and/or roller. If it's not that it better be something good.

I assume the "496999 - GI TRA Deluxe Vintage Classic 10.99" is the Neo G1 or whatever they decide to call it?

If I remember right, TRU Canada has had them right from the start. Maybe the TRU's in the US are following suite?

I would imagine that a $90 PP would be more than enough to cover the figure AND a trailer. Especially considering that the second and last time I saw 20th Primes around here before they were going for $20 at target on "clearance." And I'll bet that was still making a nice profit off of it. And then I was dumb and sold the one I bought for that price for $50, and then saw them on Ebay for 3x that much a month later. lesigh. And I know this post didn't make much sense but I have had no sleep for a few days :D

I'm going to go ahead and call it now and guess it will include not a trailer, but a DVD of the the 86 movie.

I agree, besides it was [email protected] enquirer that the 1986 movie on DVD would be included...which would definitely add 15-20$ by itself. And If I remember right, TRU had masterpiece ops for 69.99 back in 2004. I could be wrong, but a DVD would definitely explain the price increase, I think a trailer would add a lot more ya know?

Hmm. I thought that when he first showed up in TRU's computers, he was listed at $89.99. But by the time he came out, it ended up being $69.99 at most stores, but $79.99 at higher-rent stores (NYC, etc.). Though I could be smoking something. I certainly can't imagine what would make me spend $90 on another version of this mold. Don't get me wrong -- I love my 20th OP to bits, but that's a fair bit of scratch for a redeco. And I can't imagine that 99% of people who would buy 20th OP at retail price don't already have TFTM on DVD.

Meanwhile, hooray for the possibility of LoCs at someplace that might actually stock them. I've only ever seen them (at a brick & mortar store) at one Kohl's. And they can take their $5 price tag (and all their other TF prices) and cram it.

Finally, interesting that TRU's Classics Deluxe price will be ~15% cheaper than Target's. That doesn't happen often.

Oh, and "Vintage Classic". It's redundant AND repetitive! :D

EDIT: 200th post. Woo, or something. Only took me 3 years to get there....

Nevermore already debunked the theory. It is indeed 20th Optimus and the Movie DVD. To coincide with the 20th Anniversary of the film's release.

Good, I was going to say there's no way in hell it'd come with a trailer for only a $20 price jack. Even the non-tfing trailers still run around $50.
