I fully welcome this. As much as I love G1, I can't wait to get some more variety in my TF toys.

Agreed. Besides, once the G1 show-focused collectors have completed their entire show crew, some of them might consider retiring from collecting.

Also adding the fact the whole 90's sneaking in with a potential 90's boom. Well. It seems sorta nice to see that happen with transformers. I mean, it already might had with all the G2 homages. Beast Wars would likely be next with some Unicron Trilogy stuff sprinkled in.

I wonder... when we eventually get the other Powermasters, will their partners be cassettes as well? Seems pretty large for a deluxe to carry around.

thats a good point, probably would be a bit big on a deluxe, but i cant see them being any smaller unless they do like they did overlord and put titan/primemaster wells in them and turn those into powermasters as well

Haha yeah, throughout the entire listing they switch between calling The Blue One Rumble or Frenzy.

This is evidence they know the fanbase. Responding to collectors wanting figures is one thing, but that level of sass is another.

But even Cyberverse chucks in some curve balls and even new characters.

I'm just getting back in after being away since 2011, so I really have little clue what's going on with Cyberverse beyond being a kid-friendly BB focused line.

Heres to hoping someone makes an attachment for that slot for the \"powermasters\" cassettes that fits a smaller bot and then makes a powermaster addon set. Like they did with carnifex and TR pm prime

Once again, since you missed entire sections of my commentary, the appearance of Cheetor and other BW themed characters on Cyberverse coupled with the upcoming BW movie may very well change public perception and in turn sales habits. However, you can't handwave the past. Literally the only BW CHUG figure that didn't shelfwarm from Universe 2.0 on was Waspinator, from a wave notorious for bad distribution. Get indignant all you want, that fact is widely known.

Yet that waspinator is the only t30 bw figures still available on bbts. Seems the “facts” that you’re presenting are a bit skewed.
